Database for small data
What do you like best about the product?
it is fast retrieve data and better in comparison to other databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
it is not flexible with big data and it has integration problem

I use this MySQL in my product where it retrieve data from my csv file.

its opensource, many features included in it which is inexpensive as compared to big company products like oracle or MSSQL or other RDBMS.. Different types of Partitioning, Cross-platform , easy to scale out..Closely aligned with php so works great for php applications.

there are stability issues related to the manner in which it handles certain functions (such as references, transactions, and auditing).no built in support for XML

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, no lags, quick - and the workbench lets you create custom reports which is a great feature to use, considering how analytic models can get increasingly complex and how we may want to export only selected metrics to the actual report.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of locating the exact software on the web and downloading it is not very simple- there needs to be more clarity about the different product options available to figure out which one would be best suited to meet our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MySQL workbench is my best friend while using MySQL - it helps me create custom spreadsheet reports for my supervisor, while allowing me to run real-time quick analyses within the SQL environment. Also, the user environment is great, there is barely any lag time associated with running queries on huge data sets and getting results and in general, this is a very good hands-on product to use for personal academic as well as business projects. My analysis projects were always based in MySQL since the interface is very easy to use and it does not take a lot of effort to familiarize yourself with the nature of this product if you have worked
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend MySQL especially to someone just beginning to build custom models after learning the structured query language. This is a very helpful starting point and will help you create models and customize them with ease. It is also the best software to have on your personal computer for analytics.

Simple to use and share SQL with team. Easy to use it on multiple dataabases. What we really like is ability to connect to multiple databases

What do you like best about the product?
It is battle tested, many applications are being used. It is simple to install and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with its division in MariaDB broke part of its community and Some data types are not consistent, the database does not impose some types of data also lacks some formats, such as json for exeple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MySQL is still the most used database for my company's projects. We use it as the main database for our applications and it is doing well since 2010.

Keep up the good work! and keep it updated to deal with the other challenges with the tools in the market. And good friends enjoy it. It's free and easy to set up.
