MySQL is an one of best opensource relational database.
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is open-source so anyone can down who is looking for an open-source relational database. From my point of view, the upside of MySQL is security and reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can't handle large size of databases easily in MySQL and there were not many developments and debugging tools available for database management as compared to other paid databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used mostly MySQL database in most of my projects as it's open-source. As MySQL relational database so we can easily give relationships between tables which helps us the most.

MySQL an easy Journey
What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple to work on. Easy to use. If you know a normal english then you can easily work on Mysql. Writing queries and getting output in tabular format is great
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike is not really a dislike, i just think this shole be developed better. Replication should have made easier to implement and logs status should be more informational. Which i think is lag in Mysql

I started my carrer with msql. It is easyspecially for the begginers. Easy to use. Easy to install, easy to configure. Infact there was a small database which runs quite smooth on mysql
Use when data is simplified
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the consistency it offers. The easy syntax to connect to the remote servers and operate on them with the same ease as if I am working on my machine. Its integration with the Django applications is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to do a lot of processing ourselves to store the key-value pairs or data that we receive from some service or API. It is slower at times in comparison to the non-relational databases. Had it had some more aggregation functions, our tasks could have been easier. I might not know about the method to connect to the DB server using some key file, but it will be awesome to have one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MySQL allows us to store the relational databases, and perform safe computations which are required in the financial services industry. The reads and writes behave in a serialized manner. Because of this serialization, we're not committing changes that are conflicting with our records.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible MySQL is, whether it's a high end server or a Raspberry Pi. You can be sure that MySQL will run. I also love the performance aswell as it's security and reliability.

It's not as great at managing very large amounts of data as some other solutions, also it is missing out on features that other databases have

MySQL is helping us implement many things in terms of web development and data science purposes. For example, MySQL is being used in our situation for things like log in pages

having to use a specific language makes it difficult to apply it to all people in a work environment

being able to use extensive databases without occupying so much computer memory, facilitating information searches

If they usually use databases with a lot of information, it is almost mandatory to use SQL as a tool to process the data.

What do you like best about the product?
To begin with, learning how to utilize this program is simple. Since it is open-source, you can download it for free. Another feature I appreciate about this software is that it is compatible with a variety of programming languages and operating platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS. Finally, it is quick and easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
When executing huge databases, it is sluggish. It can also be difficult to use for those who have never done so before. Finally, there is the workbench user interface, which is not interactive and hence requires some tweaks to increase its speed.

I created a full-fledged wholesale e-commerce site using MySQL. And it works perfectly. In addition, it has been utilized in a software development project to create a monitoring tool.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL Tool provides a way to manage large amount of data. It gives many features that we are using to do changes with data stored in database.

We are using MySQL to review , update, insert data into database. We are using most of the features of this tool which gives optimistic data to use. This tool currently provides very useful features which are necessary while working with Database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To solve problems related to data we are using MySQL database. To store, manage, update, insert large amount of data we need this type of tool. This tool is very easy to use and gives better results while working with data stored in database.
MySQL: Open Source and high load database
What do you like best about the product?
It has all the integrated features to design a relational database with Primary and Foreign Keys definitions and then define the indexes to optimize the database performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't find the main feature that I dislike about MySql. Probably there are some things that could be improved. For example, the IDE Client seems a little bit out of fashion, but it works great!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the need to have a reliable database installed on the client on-premises (not cloud-based) with complete integration with .NET, Java, and Python. The business performance improves with the fast connectivity with all these languages. Now that MySQL has Machine Learning, you can get smart data with SQL instructions!!!

You need a medium to advance knowledge of relational databases and connectivity to use MySQL.
My first-choice open source RDBMS.

Mysql is open source and this comes with obvious benefits such as multiple support options , faster fixes to bugs , and of course security. Interestingly , all of the aforementioned are foremost benefits of Mysql as a relational database management system.
Asides the above , Mysql greatly trends within the community of backend engineers and data scientists , for its ability to process requests speedily and its focus on workflow contol.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mysqls Graphical user interface (GUI) can be better for users ,in the area of intuitiveness. Mysql consumes huge computer resources as well, mainly due to the series of add-ons and extensions it needs to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to have data saved in an easy to access and easy to analyze manner , is a key problem which Mysql addresses for my organisation. The ability to aggregate data fruitfully from multiple data sources, is an important benefit of Mysql for me.
