What do you dislike about the product?
The client used to connect to posgres breaks, for example never use pgadmin to connect to this database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data replication is a big advantage. If your data is in one of the cloud regions it gets replicated in to an other region with in fifteen minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not connect it with the client pgadmin, It always breaks. Needs restarting the client every single time.

Has delayed response sometimes which updating the Database Schema

What do you like best about the product?
We use Postgresql for our data warehouse and we love the software because of its capability to handle complicated SQL queries for financial analysis and other workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Postgresql has many types of databases and you have to choose the proper one to get the correct degree of efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm solving with Postgres Is the need to run analytic SQL queries in a scalable and efficient manner for our analytic capabilities.

Postures is tool that it can be integrated with customized software till now. Has best functionality ease to use

Postures service dies once centos OS Or Helios restart. Please look into this matter as soon as possible

What do you like best about the product?
Easy error recovery options like deleting and altering tables etc. in a given database.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no clear documentation available on the official website , the search is is not good related to finding docs,especially once related to configuring the database itself on the machines and different OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues with upgrading to new version

I would definitely recommend as it is a very good option and its definitely provides many good features in the free version as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The simple GUI, combined with the CLI commands - makes this database very easy to use. Additionally, the fact that it is open-source and powerful makes it a go-to database for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes as of now. PostgreSQL being such a good open-source database, one would have to nit-pick really hard to find out something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing the database while it is being hosted in a server from different machines.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the main reasons why I use PostgreSQL is that it is developed under open source (Open Source), besides that if we require a database to work on our project, the most common is that we ask ourselves which database to use provide performance, security and in turn we can use it both in the office and outside it, and one of the most common cases is that we do not all have the same operating system. It also has a management facility PgAdmin is the main base administrator Postgres data is very simple to use, this tool practically does everything with a few simple clicks, being optimal for people who do not have much experience, either because they are starting in the world of databases or because they simply need a database for your project.
What do you dislike about the product?
PostgreSQL It is relatively slow there are things like these that I also dislike in insertions and updates in small databases, also PostgreSQL is designed for high volume environments. This makes the response speed seem slow compared to small databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher performance. Greater speed both when connecting to the server and serving selects and others.
Better administration utilities (backup, error recovery, etc).
Even if it hangs up, it does not usually lose information or corrupt the data.
Better integration with PHP.
There are no limits on the size of the records.
Better access control, in the sense of which users have access to which tables and with which permissions.
MySQL behaves better than Postgres when modifying or adding fields to a "hot" table.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As we can see when using PostgreSQL we obtain security, reliability, stability and the opportunity to improve and provide functional developments to make an even more optimal database manager. These simple reasons are more than enough to place Postgres among the main options to take into account when working with databases.

What do you like best about the product?
PostgreSQL is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and used database servers.

One of the main reasons for using PostgreSQL is that it is developed under open source (Open Source), we can find it available on its official website and download it without any cost. also has a MULTIPLATAFORMA
If we require a database to work on our project, the most common is that we ask what database to use that gives us performance, security and in turn we can use it both in the office and outside of it, and one of the Most common cases is that we do not all have the same operating system. And here is another reason to use PostgreSQL: we will not have to worry about this detail anymore, because it is available in virtually all versions of Unix operating systems and also for Windows, giving us the opportunity to have it installed locally, make a remote connection to through your PgAdmin administrator or also from the application you are developing.
What do you dislike about the product?
This compared to MySQL is slower in insertions and updates, since it has intersection headers that do not have MySQL.
Online support: There are official forums, but there is no mandatory help.
It consumes more resources than MySQL.
The sintaxtis of some of its commands or statements is not intuitive at all.
These are some of the annoying things about PostgreSQL.

is a free relational object database server, since it includes features
of object orientation, such as inheritance, data types, functions, restrictions,

open source projects, the development of PostgreSQL is not managed by a single company but rather
is run by a community of developers and commercial organizations.

that this is a database server that by all the features already presented is good to use it for all the benefits that it has when creating a database

What do you like best about the product?
It is a really simple and powerful relational datababase server. It is free!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The installation process is very hard task to do. You need advanced linux knowledge to install and implement it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like PostGRE only for non critical systems. It is a cheaper option and is very useful for geographical data analysys.

What do you like best about the product?
PostgreSQL is one of the best choice when it comes to managing relational databases and it is available to use for free! It provides an ease of use to its users. It allows developers the freedom of using many languages eg. Python for scripting. It works well with large amount of data too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Processing big data is need of the day and very much required in all businesses. Even though postgreSQL can support large databases, It is not suitable for big data due to large computation time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use postgreSQL to manage out employee and project databases. Its ease of use the fact that it is available for free make it possible for us to use it for small scale businesses and needs.

A very useful application to manage databases. Available for free along with good support.
