Create your secure and robust database
What do you like best about the product?
is a computer tool that you can obtain free downloading from your website, easy to install both in private operating systems and open source and this allows you to create a database with different parameters and tables that will make your database fast and secure too has the advantage of working with different types of files for the storage of information so that when consulting tables is faster has an option called triggers that allows to automate statements in the database to perform execute command so automatic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is usually difficult to install linux operating system since it must be installed manually using the command console and indicate in which sites the installer file is located, it also tends to be flawed when it has multiple databases or when a database It is very small since it is indicated and developed for a large data base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked to use this database with the system and extensive information that our client needs and are developed in turn is implemented and integrated with several tools for developing programs such as netbeans and eclipse.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
is a very useful tool and its advantage is that totally free that will work to manage database of great information for systems in both web development environment and desktop environment as they are developed in java is light when installing and you do not need more resources for its execution, however, the system usually becomes a bit heavy depending on the number of information it manages and the way in which it is managed correctly.

The built in full text search functionality.

The Admin UI, it is difficult to learn, and hard to do simple things like look at a table in the DB

What do you like best about the product?
It is a super fast tool and the best of all for free to manage database of large volume or size; it is compactible for both windows and other operating systems. Its configuration is easy and its functionality is surprising since it allows you to manage a database of data that contains multiple tables in a fast and secure way to access the information asks you to log in and has an endless file format to save the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
in database that are not large, or it is usually slow search or may even fail, you need some plugins or components to integrate with other software which makes it a bit difficult to configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have served to make and safeguard our information in a safe manner and with multiple forms of protection. This tool also allows us to encrypt our information in case any person wishes to access it, it can not be achieved. its installation is totally free and compactible for java and php application development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this database administrator for its quick way of installation and configuration in turn for the way to administer the tables and database because it allows to interlace tables and have a better response quickly and without any error. It works both for proprietary operating systems or open source, and you do not need to have a large computer to use this tool because it does not consume much requirements.

What I like most about PostgreSQL apart from how reliable and powerful this database manager is, is that it can be managed with other visual programs such as PgAdmin. This makes it possible to manage Posgrest visually, it is more convenient to easily use the SQL statements that through consoles this is what I like most of Postgres

one of the things that I dislike most of Postgres is that it is very complicated to pass a file in Excel with information to a table in Postgres since with mysqladmin it is much simpler and easier to do this procedure that in my work I have to do frequently this process in postgres in their new versions should make it easier for the user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the most important benefits in the company using this Postgres database manager is the cost reduction with respect to other private managers and also that it is much easier to manage this tool than others such as Oracle, Microsoft sql server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
as a recommendation for this manager of Postgres databases is that for small applications improve the performance of the application so that it is not so slow since Postgres is designed for applications with more complexity than MySQL because of this one thinks to do for a small and easy application work with this database manager and not with Postgres

It's a very robust product with a lot of features. We have been using it a lot and it's very reliable, flexible and scales accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some quirks that are particular of postgre, like the fact that count operations can be very slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our main DB for most projects. It has a very rich set of features and it performs very well for our use cases

PostgreSQL is simple is having the lowest learning curve and it's lightweight too.

It requires much more resources to execute when there are multiple queries running.

PostgreSQL is one of the best options to work with relational databases. Having worked a lot with databases and having the experience to work with PostgreSQL made me realize how this is one of the most solid options for working on this area.
