PostgreSQL review
What do you like best about the product?
PostgreSQL is easy to use and several admin activities can be accomplished with point-and-click features rather than scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool can sometimes crash when writing data to CSV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My current client uses PostgreSQL to store data from an upstream CRM.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use,good online support community,open source and available as a docker image
What do you dislike about the product?
Very strict on syntaxing and debugging not easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To store metadata by creating schemes and databases
Love the JSON type fields

The ability to use JSON field types and the overall performances

The poor management tools available in opensource : phppgadmin really has a poor UI

Building an API requires a strong batabase system that can handle huge volumes of requests
Used to be good, now it's confusing

I used to really like it because it was easy to navigate and easy to connect and do what i needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now in the newer versions, I'm pretty confused as to where everything is and not sure if it's just me or is the UI less professional now??

I just needed a GUI to access my postgres database. I don't use this anymore because I found a better software but wish it didn't have to happen this way because I was a user of this for a long time

I use Postico now
Good feature set and scaling capabilities

Open source software, wide range of OS support, strong set of DB performance and language flexibility (Python, C, C++, etc), security model is mature and ability to use shared or dedicated hosts for large sites is well established

Inability to change tables used in views

Use ti with prior knowledge only, becuase coding is a little tricky

What we like best of PostgreSQL is the versatility, community support and ease of adaptability
What do you dislike about the product?
None - There was none to dislike PostgreSQL at all. Its fantastic!

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and setiup.. I use a software as a service for Postgres which is free.
What do you dislike about the product?
The datatypes are very different from MySQL, Oracle or MSSql server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use this for teaching. I have found it to be a relatively inexpensive product to teach database management systems
Good product for development

Main advantage is reliability and stability

Usability and learning curve. Installation and configuration is bit difficult

We are using it for c OK moles data models. It's good for store and manipulation of data. Syntatic sugar for querying. Very good for cloud hosting. Compared to all other database, I prefer postgress for huge swath of data problems
Tough but easy

I like that it comes with all of the sql commands built in to the CLI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked how hard it were to get up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage workers data. A benefit that I've realized are it's query return speed compared to sql.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a chance and see if it's perks of speed are right for you. Difficult instantistion though.
