Just came back to joomla after a few years and I see they added Quix. Best way to build a page!

The main interface is still lagging. There are many other options out there that are much more attractive and easier to use

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is my go to CMS for complex and very customized websites for my clients. I've been using Joomla for over 10 years. The things you can do with Joomla as a developer, are what makes it ideal for those specialized projects between the extensions available and the ease in creating and writing new extensions. And the community behind Joomla is second to none. The template system is so easy to create a custom layout for Joomla.
What do you dislike about the product?
Joomla is not ideal for using with clients who are non-technical and wish to administrate their website themselves, the administrator is not the most user-friendly is the feedback I've received from a number of clients. I'm not a fan of any of the e-commerce extensions for Joomla, but the social network extensions, make building a social network website a breeze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex and large websites are easy to create with Joomla as the CMS framework.

What do you like best about the product?
It is free software so it already gives all the points in its favor, from my point of view Joomla is for programmers, for those who like to review the source code to adapt it later to their needs, you must have knowledge in php and base of data.

It has a variety of modules, plugins and extensions to install almost all free, these add-ons help to make attractive pages, additionally it also has extensions to manage security and avoid attempts of hakeos, add languages among other things

Another point in favor of Joomla is that it has one of the largest communities when it comes to seeking information, clarifying a doubt.

Joomla is excellent for managing user and group profiles and can classify users to manage security
What do you dislike about the product?
As I indicated earlier Joomla is ideal for programmers, for novice end users, I suggest other content managers that are much simpler, if what you want is to make a blog there are other easier tools to use.

You have to be very careful not to install pluggins or modules without checking, since they can have security holes and leave us a vulnerable page.

Another important detail is that some pluggins or modules offer features that can only be enjoyed if they are paid, obviously it is not a condition of Joomla perse, however it can be tedious to want your page to have a functionality and you must pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a previous work, make a page from scratch in version 1.7, after a while you had to migrate from version to 2.5 and that migration was tedious to the point of having to perform a new installation and start from scratch, it was helpful at the time because a template was selected a little more adjusted to the requirements and the code adaptations were not great
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make a web today is very simple, there are multiple handlers that facilitate development and in a matter of hours you can have a published website, however, with Joomla you can make a website as versatile, comfortable, attractive, elegant as you want with the necessary complements, but for this you must have a level in programming.

Joomla, a great CMS

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is a CMS, Content Manager System, with great potential and very good features. Their strong point are that it is very simple to use, since you only have to create content pages and menu items and inmedietlly you have the website working. Related with the appearance, you just have to install a template that you like and will automatically change the layout of the page. There are inifinitas webs of templates and contents.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, it's very easy to use, but when you want to get out of the usual tasks, the level gets very complicated: modules, modification of templates, changes in the internal code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our case we use it to make full web pages, because for a low cost we can get a website with a very good look.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Joomla to everyone who wants to develop web pages regardless of the level they have. If you are a beginner you can start very quickly, and if you have a high level you can make very interesting projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is a good CMS that serves its purpose well. It is relatively easy to navigate and use and has a serviceable level of developers producing decent plug-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Joomla is in a tough spot because it is being squeeze from below by WordPress and left in the dust by Drupal. Consequently, the community has really lost steam over the past few years and the quality of developers and their plug-ins is mediocre when compared to WordPress and Drupal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a website for a church and needed a simple to use CMS that the church employees could administer properly without a lot of guidance or help. It did the job and the church was pleased.

Easy to install, user friendly functionality, joomla is the one of best content management system in the web developing industry. we can install a website in a single click using this.

frequent updates release from the owner make us confusing. For a small changes no need to update overall cms

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Joomla allows you to personalize the modules on your sites and the language of how it is organized makes sense inherently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike about Joomla is that it feels like an outdated system and still has some bugs that have to be worked out at times (like many systems).

What do you like best about the product?
When i first used Joomla I loved the fact it had all these features and plugins and even addons to make our websites the bomb!
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the admin backend. It wasn’t organized correctly and it was somewhat difficult to navigate.

With Joomla, it helped us build our website and the websites of our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is very user friendly and comfortable to use. I would appreciate if they keep updating the package often and bring in new features up to date in the market as per the demands

It is sometime not easy to update the new packages and integrating is an issue as such. Some of the module such as search vision is better in other WCMS but as user friendly joomla is one of the best
