Joomla is a great cms for beginners and advanced professionals
What do you like best about the product?
I loved with joomla having the abilities to customize our web platforms as needed and having the expandability there more than with wordpress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only think I would say that I disliked would be the lack of support and devs on the joomla platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to tackle many web development solutions for my business and other partnered businesses with joomla

Joomla CRM is Very Out-dated and Requires Lots of Training
What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple to understand after you get inside and work a lot in it. Would recommend having an expert to ask questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really hard to navigate and figure out where each page is and to update it accordingly. The changes take a while to apply, even when you clear the cache. Can't customize the page very much. Requires some background of HTML coding.

What do you like best about the product?
The media uploader is simple and so far hasn't crashed or given me any issues. Being able to just copy the link of the photo and insert it into other pages works really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many places for things to get lost. Having widgets, and pages, and modules can be confusing, even for the most organized person. There doesn't seem to be a reason why some things go in certain places and other don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a reliable platform to host information and quickly update the public is a problem we've solved.
Good and Free CMS System That Should Work For A Variety Of Sites
What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is user - friendly and easy to run / manage. It works well on power sites that have a lot of content, and many completely free plugins still extend all their other scope. URLs can be made into SEO-friendly webpages using plugins and installlation is not too difficult.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because many plugins are developed by the user community, some errors can lead to system instability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have used joomla for website CMS development. Being free and open source, it has a large developer community but its also very difficult to work with which is why we had to stop using it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check the community for questions, there are many forums.

Seguramente de los primeros productos CMS. Ha evolucionado mucho y todos esos años de experiencia se notan a la hora de usarlo ya que cuenta con muchisima configuración. Si eres un usuario sin experencia te llevará 15 minutos entender cómo funciona joomla y si eres programador web verás que puedes hacer autenticas virguerías.

Realmente nada. Como dije, puede tomar un par de días en entender cómo agregar contenido y estructurarlo, pero una vez que esto se resuelve, el resto fue muy fácil. Está claro que nada tiene que ver con portales ya existentes que generan una web semiautomático.

Llegué a usar Joomla cuando necesitaba crear un portal web para que una empresa vendiera sus productos. Me llevó bastante crearles el portal desde 0 pero una vez terminado la calidad era muy buena y el cliente quedó satisfecho. En el futuro el propio cliente podrá administrarse su portal dado que le daremos formación para que el solo pueda modificar contenido.

Joomla fue uno de los primeros en salir, y sigue mejorando. El soporte es fácil de encontrar a través de su comunidad activa de código abierto. La configuración requiere una pequeña revisión del manual y navegar un poco por la web de la comunidad, pero una vez que supera este obstáculo inicial, todo lo demás es fácil de usar, intuitivo y súper flexible para satisfacer las necesidades de todos. Recordar también que es totalmente gratuito.
Very Versatile CMS That Lacks The Level Of Support Its Competitors Have
What do you like best about the product?
I love Joomla and being able to do so many things its able to make your website anything you want it to be. I have been using it a long time and being free to start off with is a big winner, and many of the addons are free, so it doesn't take much to set it up and get going.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so complex, as much as I adore Joomla this is not for everyone and is not as popular as say wordpress and its complexity created issues for ourselves in finding developers that work with it and we had to sadly move on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building websites, we realized as good as Joomla is its lack of popularity among developers means that it is harder to find help online in forums and getting actual developers compared to wordpress.

Joomla is the back-end engine for our CRM system and I like the setup for this. It is easy to create events and register participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the amount of updates it has! I get an update email almost every day.

Most Secure Content Management System for Creating Websites
What do you like best about the product?
What I have always liked about Joomla is how secure the CMS is. In my history of creating websites with Joomla, I have never had any of my Joomla websites hacked. For my websites whose websites have a high likelihood of being hacked, I always choose Joomla over other content management systems like Wordpress.
Another thing I like about Joomla is that it is open source. I don't have to pay anything to use the platform. The only thing you will have to pay for at some point is the premium templates and extensions. And still, on this, you can always decide to use the free template and plugins and end up paying nothing to have a complete website up and running.
Another thing I like about Joomla is how the templates are set up. The templates are configured in modules which detect the positioning of various components in your website. If you want to check the modules of your Joomla template, you can do so using: http://mydomain.com/index.php?=1. This helps you plan the arrangement of the various sections of your website pages.

One of the things I dislike about Joomla is that it is not very good at it's blogging capabilities. If a client wants s a blogging website, I am forced to use WordPress.

Joomla helps me as a web designer to set up secure websites for my clients. The stable and secure websites help my clients to have more credibility with their customers.

If you are looking for a solution to help you set up a secure website that's hard to hack, then Joomla should be your choice.
effective and robust cms
What do you like best about the product?
Joomla can really do anything you want. If you have someone who can code and customize a website from soup to nuts, Joomla can host it with almost infinite possibilities. Its also an open-source CMS which means you can switch coders or hosts at any time - as long as they know their way around Joomla, they can get around your site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires the admin to be more-or-less tech savvy, to have worked previously with other cms (and no longer just a novice).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joomla was an excellent fix for our organization because it got our website off of a proprietary CMS system and onto an open source one, meaning that it was much easier for us to hire outside contractors to work on it and maintain the site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You absolutely have to be specifically trained to navigate it in order to update or add content. If you do not have a web team on staff, you can quickly get in over your head.

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE everything about it. It's easy to use, even easier to explain to new employees. You can do a plethora of things for your website through Joomla, and the user experience is always the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kind of a lot of updates, but I'm sure it's why the quality is so good.

One and only platform we use to manage our website.
