Good CMS for non specialized designers

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla became in one of the best options to make a website if your know-how of programming and design is not really high. It's easy to start, and very easy of use. To make it possible, there are thousands of webs with templates and extensions that allows you to customize your website to the level that you want. Another important thing is that there are a update system in the core of Joomla, that allows you to maintenance the installation updated and secure with just one click. In the old HTML websites wasn't needed but in this websites with JAVA, PHP and AJAX it's important to keep them updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem of Joomla is that you want to do something more complex, becomes more difficult to use, because you need to develop your own modules or your own templates, and this becomes to much work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Joomla and other CMS to develop simple websites for people than don't need really complex or interactive websites. It's really fast design a presentation website with Joomla
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to start to develop websites. For people than never use it there are much information for use it.
Also the amount of websites with content for Joomla helps to make it easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla it's a CMS that allows you to make a full website with not much time neither much know about web developing. Just you have to download the files, from the website of Joomla, uncompres in your server and run the installer. Its easy and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The structure of the website it's static and difficult to modify. Some modifications needs much work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to develop small websites for projects in very short time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good alternative to Drupal, and much better than the simple websites done by Apache and PHP

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is a Content Manager System ideal to start with developing websites, it's basic but very easy to start. There are much options to configure, and there are thousands of webs with free templates to use
What do you dislike about the product?
If your level is low, there are some things that can be difficult to start, but in the net there are lots of information. Also is difficult to create your own template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joomla it's perfect to make a website fast and simple. Therefore you can sell a website with a reduced price with Joomla

Good to people that needs to make a website fast and isn't a professional website developer.

What do you like best about the product?
Es muy fácil crear cualquier proyecto usando Joomla. Fácil de usar, publicar y mantener.
Me gusta la capacidad de asignar a los usuarios diferentes niveles / áreas de acceso para que puedan mantener las páginas actualizadas por sí mismos. Posee un panel de control muy completo y fácil de usar una vez lo manejas.

Necesita actualizarse para ganar terrero con respecto a sus competidores. La comunidad necesita estar más activa y apoyar más la plataforma. También podrían mejorar la interfaz por defecto y la optimización general del programa.

Buen CMS para páginas webs, si tienes conocimientos de programación o cuentas con equipo especializado será una muy buena herramienta.

Si no eres un experto en este tema es una herramienta adecuada para iniciarte al desarrollo web, posee muchas funcionalidades y cumple sus objetivos perfectamente.

What do you like best about the product?
Lo mejor de Joomla es quees un CMS Open Source y gratis. Es muy fácil editar la plantilla por defecto que trae el sitio web y tenerlo listo en 1-2 horas. La plantilla por defecto es muy fácil de personalizar incluso para las personas que no tengan experiencia en diseño web. Con el sistema de plugins se puede personalizar completamente para que se adapte totalmente a las necesidades de tu empresa.
What do you dislike about the product?
No es intuitivo. Para personas que hayan practicado con Joomla les será un muy buen CMS pero si no has usado nunca Joomla te será muy difícil hacer cosas más allá que modificar la plantilla por defecto.

Usamos Joomla para crear y editar nuestra página web.

Encuentra un desarrollador que sepa manejar el CMS Joomla a la perfección.

The best CMS ..... after Wordpress

What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is beginner friendly, is regulary updated,have a good customization options and have a great online community. I used it for month for a little business, it's was good for a basic store.
Joomla offers templates and extensions but because it is less popular than WordPress, there are quite fewer templates and extensions.
You can also use it for blogging.
it's free.
the SEO Options is now implemented in the bese installation, not need a third party plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Joomla is for me, the second best option for business and blogging. But i's a very good alternative.
Some third party plugins are expensive.
The community have a tons of modules, but they are hard to find and harder to maintain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My first online business store was made with Joomla, was a good experience. It's a great CMS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a very good alternative to Wordpress, you can take a look a it.

Es un buen CMS, con el que puedes construir potentes aplicaciones web, sin embargo las versiones que yo probé eran poco intuitivas y algo liosas de usar. Hay que echarle horas.

El panel de administración. Que era un poco lioso.

Que puedes editar tus plantillas crearlas adaptarlas al modelo de tu negocio y creas tu sitio web sin tener micha experiencia

Las actualizaciones del joomla son muy seguidas y no terminas de manejar uno y ya debes actualizar y a veces te cambia mucho la pagina que tienes y no te funcionan las plantillas

What do you like best about the product?
Lo que más me gusta de Joomla es que es un gestor de contenidos muy centralizado en el apartado de ventas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lo que menos me gusta de Joomla es que lo complicado que es el mantenimiento de este si no eres la persona que lo ha hecho.

Una tienda ropa exclusiva, al ser un gestor de contenidos destinado para ese sector, se realizó rápidamente.
