Does the job, but not very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The framework is very powerful, flexible and extensible. There are many plugins and extensions that allow you to add another level of interactivity to your website.
What do you dislike about the product?
In terms of user experience, Joomla is one of the worst and less intuitive content management systems I have worked with. The learning curve is really big and you need to invest a lot of time in order to learn how to get around.

You should consider looking at other CMS alternatives, especially if the client or users who will be using the backend are not very tech-savvy. Joomla is hard to understand and maintain unless you have good experience using it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like this constructor CMS site because I can edit content for our company and generate news of interest in general. What I love most is the ability to place content as a digital media or digital journal, this makes it special for companies that have a blog in its brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike this CMS at all I think it is an excellent constructor of content where we can edit and publish many articles in a practical, simple and professional. We should always know that this software uses database connection where it is advisable to have a little knowledge about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this constructor of site I have solved many commercial problems because thanks to the I have generated interaction between my users in such a way that they have been able to informace of our blog of news, FAQs, some technological tips that we could Publish with Joomla.

It is database driven
It is menu based thus the content can be displayed in several ways

Since years the website management has been static using Adobe Dreamweaver and similar products but with Joomla it is easy to build dynamic websites on the go. Y adding and deleting components easily

I love that Joomla is free, full of extensions and that it contains the ability to add so many necessary extensions for free. It is easy to use, once you know how.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much in Joomla that I dislike, except that there are not a lot of free templates to choose from that work well on mobile phones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joomla CMS offers a lot of free extensions, which help me to create professional-looking business websites that are interactive and have the ability to compete with other, more expensively-created websites.

Joomla is free, but it offers a plethora of extensions and plugins that help to improve the viability of your business website. Since it is so rich in basic services, there is a learning curve in figuring out how to make your website work. If you stick to it, watch the videos on youtube that show you how to create your website, and then add extensions, plugins and content, you should be up and running in no time!
Effective drop menu
What do you like best about the product?
They have easy tool bar menu that easily walks you through the building it easy. And they have alot of good free templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can't complain it's a great program. Everything was easy to understand and process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cutting my time back more to gain more work and less hours designing. I love the quality of the pictures as well.

The templates are better and free easy tool bar and easy setup cost is more but quality better.

What do you like best about the product?
Highly adaptable framework and very intuitive back-end; with many thousands of well developed Extensions available to boost site features, tending to work out-of-the-box with a highly finished look and feel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having used other content management systems, the back-end feels in need of a little more development. Clients tend to take longer to pick up management than on Drupal for example. Most Extensions carry additional costs but is relatively minimal compared with Drupal's free Modules which then require further development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better ecommerce manageability. That compared to some other CMS ecommerce solutions, there is a much wider range of configurations available when integrating VirtueMart, making this one of the top choices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at required site features, comparing Joomla! Extensions available with Drupal's Modules and the level of support and bug releases on each. Joomla! has much more well designed Extensions at a cost, which may be more difficult to further extend; Drupal Modules have more extendibility from the ground-up, carry no cost, but require much more time to develop.

There are lots of options and lots of power if you can use it right.

Its hard to maintain. Not so easy to setup as wordpress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its good cms for websites. If you have strong programming team you will be fine.

Its CMS but not for beginners. You need some experience in CMS system and some good support.

Since it is supported by a free community, everything looks outdated and very rough.

We had our main website going on this platform.

I would look at different platforms and look at the pros and cons before jumping on the platform.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop options were nice features. It was simple to upload photos, I needed to use another app to edit photos, would be a nice add-on feature if photo editing was available.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I didn’t click save after every part, it would lose everything.
