Awsome Opensource CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I like the open source that allows me to configure and re-do code to fit my own purpose. It is easy to use and easy to setup.
The system also works with articles in a great way.

What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it is easy to modify also makes it hard to maintain. It is almost imporssible to jump in after another coder has modified files.
Not really as userfriendly as other CRM but it really does not matter as it is so userfriendly as it is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy and fast to get a site published with Joomla and with such userbase it makes it easy to find solutions to problems.
The price is also a point - The base is free but certain plugins you have to pay a fair amount for. Cheap and easy.

Good solution for massive websites (journalism, publishing)
What do you like best about the product?
Very efficient (probably more so than WordPress) for managing large websites with 1,000+ pages and lots of pieces of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The WYSIWYG editor leaves a lot to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publishing a large website with 15,000+ pages of content, Joomla allows for a nice structure/categorization and the internal search function is excellent.
An effective support for the creation of excellent web sites in a short period of time.
What do you like best about the product?
The most remarkable thing about this tool, or what I liked the most, is the minimal difficulty it generates when creating different web pages and how customizable it is. It is easy to use and takes very little time to develop sites and web, puts users' fingertips everything they need, has a good customer service and online there are many illustrated and explained tutorials of its functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not difficult to use once you get used to its interface and functions, but I must admit that at the beginning, it took us a bit of work to get familiar with the software, mainly because its interface is not the most intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Joomla, we have started building excellent websites and web applications for different purposes within my organization. It takes little time to understand how it works and has been essential to get several projects up and running on the web in a short time. Its features, templates, and more make everything easier for our entire team to work with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a simple and intuitive software with few applications that support web development; it also has extraordinary ease; I recommend it; you will have the opportunity to create excellent web applications in short periods. Joomla is worth it.

Joomla for CMS for the last 10+ years.
What do you like best about the product?
Joomla is a great CMS alternative to Wordpess, in that it gives more significant and more flexible customization across the board. Joomla is very mature and has just as large of a community as Wordpress. Extending functionality with plugins enables one to build any type of site or platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Joomla. The only thing it really lacks out of the box without plugins would be the Form system. The Form system is pretty basic and could be a lot more elaborate. It will get the job done, but it's almost better to role your own or utilize a third-party plugin. Thos is surely not a dealbreaker, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joomla helps us solve more than just having a website. It solves the problem of requiring a service for Events. We have been able to build our own event system directly into our website, which handles collecting attendee information as well as providing them with calendar reminders both on the site and from emails sent from the same system. This is a significant cost-saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly consider Joomla over some of the other Open-Source CMS systems.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of CMS out there. And I'm sure that everyone uses theirs for a specific reason. My reasons for using Joomla are simple. It's an easy-to-understand backend that is not just intuitive, but also easy to configure to the needs of various clients. Blogging? Easily set up for that. Online store? Yep, that's covered too. The malleability of this platform, coupled with extensive offerings by third-party vendors make this a very attractive platform to consider for your CMS needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is more of a third-party vendor issue, sometimes the update functionality leaves a little to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Typically, at the Rescue Mission I currently work at, we are deploying Joomla as an integrated property for many of our needs. Not just funneling for donations and guest needs, but also from a communications standpoint, backend office components, etc. It's made us much more nimble as an organization.

Joomla is a customizable software; it also has practical tools for developing web-oriented projects; we have used it to create web applications for our organization because it only takes a few minutes.

It can be complicated the first time you use it due to its cluttered interface. However, it is not straightforward to use, and we can always rely on its excellent customer support team.

I like that Joomla is easy to learn and work with. It is organized in a way that just makes sense.

I dislike that there are a lot of plugins out there that are no longer managed or maintained, but still available to purchase and download.

I can put together a web page in less than a day in Joomla. Other CMSs out there are not as easy or innovative as Joomla.

Joomla is versatile and easy to use and train for. I find it more streamlined than the other major CMS.

Stylish templates - easy customization
What do you like best about the product?
The many additional applications (apps and widgets) help me to create a homepage without resorting to outside help. I have integrated the live chat tool and newsletter tool - so I can communicate faster with potential customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of features that vary from style to style and therefore I have to be careful, as soon as I change the design template, some widgets are no longer available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many languages are supported. It is also very easy to create a multilingual website - that is a real advantage. The pre-installed designs are very well done and the many widgets and extensions are very good. The website statistics are very accurate.
