Excellent tool for extract, transform and load and it is also good in visualization.
We can do any type of transformation using QlikSense and do generate snapshot as required.

You should need good foundation of data modeling.

I am using this as an ETL tool and for visualization.

What do you like best about the product?
Qliksense is excellent business analytical tool. Its so easy to use and creates preety visualisation, table views to analyse data and ability to create cusotmised formulas for data manipulations. Complex data analysis excerices can be done so easily using Qlikview
What do you dislike about the product?
The space allocation on sheets and filter panes looks a little difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Qliksense for visualising large amout of datasets in financial world.

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik allow us to align the entire company around strategic goals. We share the same vision of the truth. The great visuals help engage front line managers in operational analysis. We have both the performance overview and the detailed data for users to dive if they want. Advanced users can create their own reports, using the shared data model. Analysis suggested by Qlik are very usefull.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to connect Qlik and Google Sheets. In the future, Qlik must be able to get user feedback on data quality and data usage to be used by ML models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of truth. Data access. Decision support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for the SaaS offer. It works quite well, it has very interesting features (eg. bookmarks) and you are unburdened of the infrasctructure work.
Qlik takes some time to master, but the insights are worth it

Qlik makes it easy to import data from many sources and to report or visualize on that data in many ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik is pushing their SaaS product very hard. For those of us that can't or won't make the switch, it feels like we are being left out in the cold, needing to pay for features that SaaS users get for free, or not having access to those features at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to be able to report on the data in our data warehouse without needing to get our development team involved every time we wanted to make a change or add a new visualization. Qlik makes this very easy.
Qlik also allows us to make updates to the data when we import - updates that we might not want to live in the warehouse. For example, we might want to display the name of something in a particular way that is different from the canonical name in the warehouse - Qlik makes that easy to achieve.
Unlike some other tools that we've looked at, Qlik also makes it easy to report on the absence of data. For example, if we want to report on the number of people who did not take some action, Qlik makes those insights easy to surface.

Data Load editor logic. need to have code to load data in Qlik Sense. Some functions are not very intuitive to apply. E-g: no possibility to explicitly specify the column to join 2 tables. Cannot use multiple columns as join criteria...
I believe a modern BI tool should provide the ability for users to load data without the need to write code.
There is also little flexibility needed on the QMC: e-g: allow to add a custom property to mass users...
