Integration, Productivity, One Console, Consolidated Security
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports sometimes are problematic. I hope it will be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly emails. Email which used to be blacklisted is not more blacklisted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Security in any form is good. No matter if it is Network security or Data security. In our organization security has always helped us in securing the environment and, above all, data.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of management for hundreds of security gateways and UTMs, easily navigable and intuitive GUI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent disconnects with Security Gateway (especially in terms of the old versions before R80.x), issues with reconnecting the disconnected Security Gateways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The idea is to have centralized management of hundreds of Security Gateways, central logging, and integration with other Checkpoint components to provide a single pane of glass.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are other competitors such as Palo Alto that provide a better interface, better management portal in addition to the cloud-based solutions.
CheckPoint Security Management portal is one of the best portal to manage Checkpoint Gateways
What do you like best about the product?
The all are good for MGMT portal. Gateways, Policies, Smart Logging portal etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are facing issue with MGMT in every 3-4 month. MGMT got crashed,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All activities we are done on MGMT portal to push the policy on Gateway.

It is the besst MGMT portal ever for FIrewall (Gateway) management.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Check Point SMP is th ability it provides to manage and interconnect several devices in one, all this quite simply. I love being able to keep my work system and devices under constant security, always protecting each of my files. Effective monitoring with the contribution of the remote control means that each monitoring function is performed quickly, basing everything in the center of the network where it's possible to observe and organize everything. This system is resistant to failures allowing the work to be fluid and constant, omitting any interruption. With the creation of reports, I have been able to maintain a quality work, where with each activity report I can observe in detail the progress and changes, to be able to share it with my clients or co-workers, so we collaboratively strengthen better each of the commercial projects. The user interface is perfect, it contains the right tools to track fluidly, in addition to the exact components to make each report accurately. The integrations are fabulous, it allow I to connect all the work of the company where I work in a single system, where everything works without problems, detailing and configuring every detail with fantastic protection, design and organization tools, which allows I to connect from the center of connection where I see all the harmonic and perfect work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like how easy it has allowed me to perform all monitoring management in every aspect of my work. At the beginning it was something complex to handle, I am aware of all the functions that this tool can perform, however, in all aspects that are handled on the network, you must pay attention, taking care of every detail in the configuration and customization, because at to do so, your intuitive and automatic work will be completely wrong. I have to learn to handle it, use the appropriate learning tools to make sure that every aspect I need to control is done the way I need it. I already understood how to manage the entire system in a set of netowrks, so I would like it to be easier to understand all aspects of the platform so that future colleagues at work when they decide to use Check Point SMP do so without inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the implementation of the software, we increase the rapid reach of each of our administrative objectives, improve our work performance and decrease costs as we do the work faster and easier. Day after day, Check Point SMP has contributed with its great specificity and the detail what has every function that has to link each commercial project and enrich it in an incredible way. With its excellent tools, we appropriate our work by making everything flow much better with new and incredible quality qualities, e increase our professional use, understanding my work better. I love how wonderful it can be with work administration, thanks to its reports and contribution in all aspects to device management, which allows us to improve our dedicated time and even save or monetary resources.

It's certainly a great software, I have nothing more to ask for, it has everything, each of its tools fulfills its necessary function. It has given me excellent solutions for my work and that brings great benefits, integrates all your work with Check Point SMP and you will realize how amazing the sofware is.

It is a software to monitor and manage in a wide and quality way, with considerably good results, however, at the time I decided to use it initially, I did not imagine the steep learning curve, to configure and adapt all my requirements and objectives many Sometimes it was complicated, although some of its options and functions are quite intuitive and easy to use, others are not so much. It is necessary to train, study and analyze the software so that each report and monitoring of the device is carried out in a clean and fluid way, this takes a lot of time. It is necessary to demonstrate a more interactive and dynamic use to achieve a quick and efficient understanding of the software, so many more administrators can take the service and give it the true utility it deserves.

With the help of Check Point SMP, we greatly increase cost savings in administrative management, including labor processes and operations. It goes hand in hand with our work and strengthens business ties, has been our friendly tool and contributes day by day to place a magnifying glass in detail in each task we perform. ROI has increased significantly since we use the software, we have more professional knowledge on how to highlight our most essential feature. My sincere recommendation is that you take the free trial and evaluate the pros and cons, at the beginning it is complex to use, so it is necessary to be patient, I recommend that you take that aspect into account and take the most appropriate measures to understand more easily and practice how to handle the software in a much more fluid way. However, it has more advantages than disadvantages, it is a really useful tool for monitoring, administration and generation of reports, with high security and storage in the new. It is really dynamic and quite useful.
