What do you like best about the product?
This is an Oracle Enterprise Linux installation with all the required RPM pre-installed for running all Oracle Enterprise Products certified on Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. From my experience, there is nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every day to day problems like disk management, os management etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stable work; no unexpected reboots

Try to integrate with more cloud platform

It helps me a lot to migrate databases from Oracle to AWS cloud

What do you like best about the product?
Consumes less resources and good to use as an Oracle DBA.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is having a very complex install and licensing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Oracle Linux 7 for the Oracle Database Server and using putty to connect the server for performing the DBA related activities. Since it is more compatible with Oracle database I chose to work with it. Also it is stable OS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great OS. Very useful for Oracle DBA.

What do you like best about the product?
The experience was seamless. Transfer and installation were easy on AWS. Love that this is now available on AWS too, it was much needed. Thank you. Highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
no database query writer or editor. Can definitely be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helps immensely in our backend systems and we can easily use all oracle products

What do you like best about the product?
commands were the best part by giving the command we can work very fast. It will be very helpful while doing office work and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult for new users to learn about the Linux commands but once they learn it was the best part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
speed of the operating system.
