I like their UI and the platform overall is really easy to use. For instance, you can quickly figure out how to set up dashboards and alerts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really but I wish to see more data visualization alternatives, different type of charts etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to analyze logs. For instance, to see the volume and different attributions of calls. I like that it's flexible in terms of the amount and the combination of attributions you can select.
It's an excellent product, and always improving
What do you like best about the product?
Logz.io fills a need that we had. Its solution is less proprietary than some others, so there's a large OSS ecosystem we can learn from and take advantage of. But mostly, we didn't want to host and ELK/Elastic cluster on our own.
The support is also great.
The support is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You do get less control than if you're hosting ELK yourself, so there are some customizations that are unavailable to us. But it's worth the trade off for us. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve, though it's as easy to use as any of the competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get some visibility into how our system is behaving in production, in a central location.
All your logs in one place
What do you like best about the product?
All of our company logs are flowing to a single place allowing easy access, analysis and visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI might update a bit slow in times. Not all filters are show when there is a lot of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in many use cases. Most are technical.
Great for finding and alerting
What do you like best about the product?
We have a dashboard set up to log critical exceptions and write them to Slack. It's helped us catch a lot of problems right away and has been invaluable for troubleshooting deployments and finding problems on production before clients do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface a little hard to use. Logz.io seems like it has a lot of powerful functionality that I haven't used because I can't figure out what tools are there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Logz.io to make all our logs searchable and to notify us in case of failures.

Logz.io helps a lot in our daily work
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast and API is just excellent. We use automated tools for logs querying, so Logz.io help us found problems with our software really fast. Search is way faster than Kibana.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost nothing, we switched from Kibana with almost no pain (some filters functionality from Kibana is not supported, but we can live without it, as substitutes are provided)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do a lot of debugging based on Logz.io information. It helps us stay on track with all problems we may encounter. Logz.io API helps a lot in debug automation. We can use our toolset to search for common problems automatically and monitor current situation.

It is fast and does help a lot, but needs some time to adjust
Excellent log-as-a-service platform.

Allowing the experts @ Logz.io to manage our ELK infrastructure has freed up our engineering staff to focus our efforts on our core product. Keeping up with ELK upgrades was quite a challenge before.

Managing our daily usage (GB's) can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logz.io is used by engineering and support teams to troubleshoot system and customer problems quickly. In addition, it has proven valuable in the engineering/product planning process to identify parts of our system that would benefit the most from improvement efforts.
Only full-stack ELK provider on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Many providers of ELK expect you to host your own Logstash, which dramatically complicates usage.
Logz has the best support I've encountered in this arena, from initial proof-of-concept discussions onward. The interface is dead simple, they're ready to converse in a number of

What do you dislike about the product?
There is some minor clunkiness around limits management. API support is only enabled at Enterprise level, instead of platform-wide. High-touch support means they get a bit antsy for response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The aim for our project was to provide a lower-cost endpoint for our company-wide log aggregation service. We are still in the early phases of adoption, but initial results are promising enough that my manager has already started the process of downsizing our contract with our current vendor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to their support team: they do an excellent job.
Great Product, Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
ELK is a very powerful log collection and analysis tool, but it's not always easy to configure all the bells and whistles. Logz.io takes care of all of the ELK implementation, leaving you with a simple to use powerful tool. Their support is amazing - very quick and always ready to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up certain filters and the addition of new log types needs to be done by support. But their support is amazing and they have a very fast turnaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to do log correlation and find and resolve issues that took many hours of scraping through text logs quickly and effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a service like this, I think Logz.io is definitely worth your time and consideration. I really cannot say anything bad about them. The support is stellar and chat engine is built right into their webpage, making it very easy to chat with support when you're having an issue or need a question answered.
