it acts like an API so it easy to use. and connect to a database.

streamlined process that allows all verified users access to whats needed

Limited lag time while running multiple processes.

Difficult to work on mac computers, I felt that it was difficult to handle working on cloud anaylsis while the proactive nature of the merger was evident.

IBM has been the best for providing services, IBM Db2 was the name introduced by IBM in 2017. The names DB2 and Db2 refer to database-server products developed by IBM. These products all support the relational model, but in recent years, some products have been extended to support object-relational features and non-relational structures like JSON and XML
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find good DB2 DBAs quickly for a new project unlike Oracle or SQL-Server DBAs. Up-skilling Oracle DBAs to DB2 is easy considering the amount of materials and tutorials available in the internet for DB2. So Project teams should look for good RDBMS folks and train them for a new project in DB2 rather than just looking for pure DB2 DBAs which most of the times end-up in frustration. That way more DB2 DBAs will be available and at the same time existing employees and Full-time resources will be motivated to learn a demanding Database Technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the Tools part, I contacted IBM Product team on what they are doing currently for new & existing customers on recommending the best Tools. They were very prompt to give me the details about the same and I was pretty much satisfied with their current strategy to address my concern. IBM currently has consolidated the focus on Administration, Management, Monitoring and Tuning onto a single platform called IBM Data Server Manager. This product combines the capabilities of Optim Performance Manager, Optim Configuration Manager and Optim Workload Tuner, and the basic administration included in Data Studio into a single more consumable offering with a much simplified up and running experience, guided workflows and drilldown to detailed views when required. There is a 0 cost DSM Base Edition useful as an entry
point and advanced offering capabilities in DSM Enterprise Edition.

For analysis of data related to different section of the organization IBM Db2 is recommended.

1. Consistent with SQL or relational database and good for transforming unstructured data sources to structured data source for analysis.

3. Good for organization that needs tracking of data between their various department inside.

1. Updates are not frequent.

Processing a large amount of data and it;s analysis is achieved by Db2 and it's fast performance is satisfactory

I would recommend large organization to go for it but for smaller one they should research it first.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Db2 having some great feature and stongly build. It is easy to install and use. It is very comprehensive and fast which makes things work very well. It's having great security as well helps to connect with database like sql server and makes data easily to view in other ways.

For small comapnies may find cost high for maintenance of hardware but it is ideal for large companies which great to invest in this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cluster distributed databases is very well and easy to learn and implement them which makes most of work done very easily.
