What do you like best about the product?
Easy to install and deploy with tonns of red books and white paper available on net. It is cheaper as compared to Oracle.

It's hard to find good DB2 DBA's quickly. There are lot of great as well as less efficient monitoring tools in DB2 but no where it is mentioned which one is recommended by IBM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created a DB2 datamart for claims inventory instead of Oracle datamart which is quicker.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I Like DB2 because it is very easy to install, use, it can also be used for small and large projects, there is a lot of documentation about DB2, and the support they offer is very good, as long as you have a good license.
I used for one of my clients for the execution of databases distributed in small-scale banking project, its performance is very good
What do you dislike about the product?
the bad thing that I see, is that you have to acquire a business license to maximize its potential, apart from that you also have to use IBM hardware, otherwise many conflicts are created
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to use IBM DB2 to execute databases distributed in a small-scale banking project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Db2 is a great database manager.
