Coralogix - My partner in assisting operational chores

  • February 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using coralogix for multiple use cases, starting from configuring alerting, customized dashboards to analyze various metrices, observing APM post deployment, analyzing logs to debug issues, and more.

I personally liked the ease to do all of them over coralogix. Prominent factor for me around exploring coralogix, is 24*7 customer support, where people are there to guide & clear my queries.

I keep attending their webinars as well, where they share about the new features being introduced.

Moreover, its integration over slack channel, is also very smooth, with few clicks and all done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not say, I dislike anything. Rather it’s more of improvements, which may be done by coralogix team.

So, few things, which I feel may be worked upon are
- Ease of creating custom dashboards from existing metrics. Rather than copying queries and using them in my dashboard, just having drag and drop functionality would be to much help.
- Correlation of request flow among multiple services, seems to have scope of improvement, as compared to new relic service
- Any simpler way to download only useful data from logs, rather than complete set of logs, with so much un necessary information. Like, if I need a set of particular order id from all the logs, to be downloaded. I could not find any straight forward way to do so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, its helping with
- Alerting: Automatic notification where something fails in production
- Custom Dashboard: To have other useful metrices at one place
- APM: Analyse prominient metrices during downtime or post deployment observability
- Logs analysis: Ease to analyse the issue in production

Best Observability Platform

  • February 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We started using Coralogix 2.5 years ago after struggling with ineffective observability platforms. Since then, we've gained extensive experience and found Coralogix to be a game-changer. It provides a single pane of glass for all our observability needs, including logs, metrics, alerts, and APM. The platform also helps to save cost with their in built feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Handling log parsing can be made even easier for a smoother and more efficient log conversion process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single tool that provides a clear and visually appealing overview of my application’s logs, metrics, and performance.

Better system monitoring tool w

  • February 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Coralogix provides real time monitoring with integrated alerting . This helps to reduce the mean time to detect issues.
2. Provided integration with other tools is very simplified.
3. Support is very active and responds within 2 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using APM, the map cant be filtered as per available application or sub system. Eventually has to view all enabled services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1.Setting alerts and integrating with different platforms for incident managements, has been made easy in my environment. It has benefited my team in reducing MTTD (mean time to detect ) any issue.
2. No inhouse infra management needs to be done. Coralogix takes care of it at their end.

One glance Monitoring

  • February 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We get one glance monitoring of our applications and infra.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI gets stuck or slow when running queries for multiple resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Realtime logs monitoring helps to keep the applications running with high performance and help to catch the issues proactively.
Also, APM provides real-time insights into our application behavior, linking logs, metrics, and traces to give a complete picture of system health.

Integration with AWS metrics and logs is quite easy and helps to have everything needed for Monitoring and observability at one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Unified platform for metrics, logs, traces, Alerts and incident, Also helps a lot on optimizing our data by storing in different tiers. RUM and APM is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to templatize the alert creation and dashboard creation. But now it is manual creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking for observability platform which is best fit for us in all the aspects.

Log monitoring benefits highlighted while AI feature suggestions remain crucial

  • February 18, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We are using Coralogix for log monitoring and creating dashboards. We have not explored the SIEM part and other capabilities yet.

What is most valuable?

We are not using Coralogix to the fullest extent. However, the log monitoring is good, and the dashboards that we create are beneficial. Other aspects like the alerting mechanism are also satisfactory.

What needs improvement?

Coralogix should have some AI capabilities to auto-detect anomalies and provide suggestions. The increasing volume of data and the resulting bandwidth charges are concerns. An in-built solution that remains native could resolve this issue.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using it for almost two years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

For now, we have not experienced any stability issues.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have not experienced any scalability issues so far.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support is good. I rate it eight out of ten, and I am satisfied with their response time and overall competence.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Currently, we are at a very minimal cost, which is around $400 per month since we have reduced our usage. Initially, we were at $900 per month.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We are considering having an in-house mechanism using Grafana Loki.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend Coralogix to others based on my experience.

I rate Coralogix seven out of ten. Including AI features could be a game changer.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Efficient monitoring with precise time range selection boosts daily transaction reconciliation

  • February 08, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We are building a reconciliation system where we handle the in and out of transactions daily. We maintain a record to verify if transactions came at the expected time and match them with the bank statement. We also deal with Kafka and pod failures, high Kafka lag, and have integrated Grafana with Coralogix to monitor Kafka lag on each topic.

What is most valuable?

One of the most valuable features of Coralogix is its time range feature, which allows us to specify a time range and get the exact logs needed. This feature is frequently used by our team. Coralogix also allows us to query in a way similar to querying a database, but this is not commonly known among our team members.

What needs improvement?

We need to reduce the number of logs generated by our system, which are substantial. We require some form of grouping or categorization of logs to identify them better. Additionally, we find that the user interface is not intuitive, especially when first onboarding, and improvements could be made here.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Coralogix for around one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

There was an instance where we faced difficulty understanding why there was a lot of Kafka lag. The aggregation process in Coralogix makes it hard to see the exact metric. For example, high CPU usage on one pod can be averaged out by others, concealing potential issues. This averaging can sometimes be troublesome.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Coralogix scales well, and I will rate it nine out of ten. We have never faced any scalability issues.

How are customer service and support?

The support team is doing well. They are helpful, especially when we created several custom dashboards.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward and easy to integrate with Coralogix. Creating a custom dashboard depends on the team.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing is expensive. We need to reduce logs to manage costs. Despite the expense, I believe it is worth the money to have Coralogix as a tool.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I would recommend considering New Relic, as it is a big competitor. New Relic provides specific metrics for each function and line of code, which is beneficial.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Coralogix eight out of ten overall. While I recommend Coralogix, New Relic has advantages in specific areas.

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
