Apptega is very easy to implement and your organization with be productive in just one day.

The product functionality is still evolving and maturing.

We utilize Apptega to help our clients stay compliant with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO, CMMC, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Apptega's feature to map multiple standards together while designing and tracking the compliance program cuts down on a lot of redundancy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how clunky the user interface is, and it logs you out after two hours instead of just asking to confirm that you want to remain logged in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to keep track of evidence required for audits as it is created.
Awesome GRC
What do you like best about the product?
I find the documentation and evidence recommendations for the frameworks extremely helpful when working with clients. Additionally, the reporting and task management features enable mutual accountability for our clients and me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced significant issues with recurring tasks and data importing in the past nine months. The development and product teams are aware of these challenges, and I look forward to a permanent resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Apptega solution provides a powerful yet intuitive way to deliver compliance and governance services. For most of our clients, we move them from limited management via spreadsheets to robust oversight and reporting solution that provides value to individual contributors and leadership teams.

I recommend signing up for the QuickStart program as part of the evaluation of the solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use. Templates included to move forward to comply with regulation or standard.
What do you dislike about the product?
More integrations might be needed with other vendors to import information.

Robust system to track towards compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and background info on the controls. I really like the fact that the platform can connect you to consultants if neccesary and can help you manage Cybersecurity program compliance costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is relatively Slow to save data updates in real-time. The slowness leaves a lag at times while inputting data and making program updates. I also dislike the automatic renewals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apptega helps our organization reach and maintain CMMC compliance which allows us as a DOD contractor. This enables our business to be more competitive and maintain our position.

Apptega is a good platform, be careful about pricing and automatic renewals/charges to cards on file.

What do you like best about the product?
Any issues or problems we've had, we've always had great support and assistance from every team member at Apptega.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there's nothing to dislike. This is a great product.

We needed a scaleable GRC tool for our business and also couldn't cost an arm and a leg. We also needed a tool that didn't require a division of staff to manage. We found it in Apptega.

Kick the tires and see how good this tool can be.

What do you like best about the product?
Organization of controls, reporting, ease of use. It is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting has some quirks, like asking for a level 3 report ignores missing controls from level 2. So a level 3 report might show more completed control % than if you ran the report at a lower level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing our process as far as compliance level is concerned. My CEO likes the reporting dashboard.
A Thoughtful & Intuitive GRC Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Apptega's ease of use out of the box via compliance assessments was a huge selling feature for our company. We also utilized the included policy templates to round out our written policy repository. Being a small company, this was huge, as we didn't have a CISO on staff to write out our policies. Additionally, the platform training and customer assistance have been top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't dislike anything thus far. We noticed some spelling/grammatical mistakes in the policy templates, but other than that, it's been a pretty smooth ride.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We purchased Apptega intending to perform internal audits, as well as an annual SOC 2 audit. Along with the assessment, the individual program apps for whichever compliance standard is being worked on lists action items - providing the assigned user with a task list.

Focuses on what's really important, ease of use, customer service and support
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Apptega is for very large organizations that needs a ton of the bells and whistles Apptega might not be for you.

Apptega is helping us sort out our compliance management efforts for both new certifications and ongoing maintenance and task management of existing certifications in a very efficient and productive manner.
