Xosphere... easiest decision ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Xosphere orchestrator does an amazing job at reducing our EC2 cluster costs. All I have to do is watch my AWS bill go down!
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides. . ........................
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EC2 costs for our clusters are down over 60%. How can you not like that?

Data security at its finest
What do you like best about the product?
Xosphere is quite easy to set up, and the Cost Management dashboard provides fantastic insight. We enjoy the pay-as-you-go licensing approach in addition to the technological advantages. This permits us to scale up or down as needed without stressing about capacity planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a single thing for the past 4 years in which i have been using the products. If i find any, i would report it soonest. The product performs exceptionally well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xosphere permits us to lessen our AWS payment without having to plan out how many scheduled instances we'll need for the next three years or having a hard time figuring out how to save money.

Xosphere has a really simple installation and the Cost Management dashboard gives you an excellent insight.

It would be great having a documentation with the available services or specific use cases where using Xosphere is helpful or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an e-commerce, Vitau is scaling and growing every single day, however, some services do not requiere always on-demand instances and each oportunity to reduce costs is extremely helpful
Set it and Forget it!
What do you like best about the product?
XOSphere is incredibly helpful in quickly and consistently utilizing the spot market. Over the course of our ~1 year with XOSphere, we've had 0 problems to speak of. It's consistently saved us 80% from on-demand prices and done so without any oversight.
The additional features of XOGroups and more make it such that there's a broadening platform of offerings that will continue to serve developers well!

What do you dislike about the product?
Terraform resourec version updates are sometimes backwards incompatible. Very few other providers even have TF providers, so this is very much a nit pick

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity! It works out of the box without any effort, requires little to no maintenance, which makes it an excellent plug&play solution to reduce your AWS bill. We see around 70% cost reduction. Xosphere team has excellent support and quickly resolves any issues or open questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything. Xosphere works!

Xosphere helps us reduce our AWS bill without planning three years of how many reserved instances we need or trying to wrap our head with cost savings plans.
An Easy Button for saving money on AWS using spot instances
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Xosphere Instance Orchestrator is that it just works. Install it, tag some instances, and save money without even trying. It addresses a specific problem in a simple, non-invasive way, with close to zero operational overhead.
Aside from the technical benefits, we also like the pay-as-you-go licensing model. This allows us to increase or decrease as needed without having to worry about capacity planning. And there's no vendor lock - if AWS or another vendor comes up with a better solution, we always have the option to uninstall without any risk of operational impact, contract violation, or cost risk.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bug in an earlier version that was causing a large number of queries to the AWS API, which contributed to our rate limit. In some cases, it was causing throttling to occur, which resulted in various delays within Xosphere Instance Orchestrator and other internal processes that were talking to those APIs. We submitted a support ticket, and Xosphere fixed the bug in the next version, which was released a few days later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We all have instances that need to run, and those cost money. We also know that using spot instances can save us up to 90% on instance costs. And although AWS has some options available, none of them seem to fit quite right. We have enough things to do in our day-to-day without doing a deep-dive on AWS every time they release a new version of a product. Should we re-create the autoscale group? What are the nuances between launch configurations and launch templates? What's new in EC2 Fleet, how does it differ from spot fleet, and how does each one work with autoscaling? We like keeping things simple - we already have autoscaling groups, and all we want is just 2 or 3 options to say: "Hey, run some of these instances as spot instances and save me some money." This simplicity is where Xosphere Instance Orchestrator shines. Just set a few tags on the autoscaling group, and it handles the rest. Xosphere Instance Orchestrator is the missing tool that we've all wanted.

What do you like best about the product?
Xosphere saves us so much money. 60-70% is not a marketing thing. We're saving between 65-70% per month right now! It's effortless to set up, and support is excellent.
