Easy to use vulnerability scanner
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder.io is an exceptional online vulnerability scanner that has completely transformed our cybersecurity approach. Its user-friendly interface and powerful scanning capabilities allow us to proactively identify and address potential weaknesses in our digital infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good! It's hard to say what you dislike when you like everything in a product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder is helping us with automated testing/scanning our web app for vulnerabilities and exploits we may miss. Also helps with meeting our compliance requirements!

Fantastically Essential Resource for the Toolkit!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and setup. Great to implement and running in minutes! Concise but encompassing enough to address risks and close the loopholes when discovered continually!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - price is fantastic, just like the results. Great to feedback at board level and within IT Technical teams to address any identified issues. Also indispensable when delegating areas of responsibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder enables us to scan internal and external targets for known issues and identify new zero-day exploits and risks as they arise, allowing for the resolution of exploits same-day.
Finally we can get a comprehensive vulnerability scanner which works for us and is easy to manage.
What do you like best about the product?
We have been long looking for a solution where we would be able to easily manage all our endpoints exposed to the internet and to be informed proactively about emerging threads. While we tested several other solutions, first with intruder.io we found a tool where we do not need to waste more time than necessary. Add all our IPs and literally forget them. Scheduled scans and automatic scans of newly emerged vulnerabilities is simply the solution we were looking for. And best of all, after every scan or thread discovery we get an email - a great tool for lazy admins! The user interface is simple, clear and provides all the necessary information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to tell what we disliked because till now we have not discovered any negative side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main requirement we had was to have an automated tool that would keep us informed about any new thread and immediately provide feedback on how well we were doing. Vulnerability scans belong to the most asked requirement by all of our customers, so we are happy to deliver near-online results from our weekly scheduled tests.
Great system and service!
What do you like best about the product?
It is thorough, reliable and regular. It gives me peace of mind that we are being tested regularly to a high standard, which in turn gives my customers peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a bit cheaper for what it does - maybe better exportable reports to show customers for their DD. But other than that, not much. I really like it. Thanks!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that our system and site are as robust and secure as they need to be, and getting third party validation of that for us and or clients (existing and prospective)
Great software, easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
We are using this to meet our compliance standards. Intruder was easy to setup, and the emerging threat scans help our team stay on top of any new vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that we dislike regarding core functionality. I would like to have our monthly reports automatically uploaded to our Sharepoint site for our admin team to access easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder provides us with monthly penetration testing for our entire system. This allows us to exceed our compliance standards and ensure that we do not have any exploitable vulnerabilities in our system.

i think the GUI for results could be cleaner , a bit to much information, maybe the ability to customize the screen

peace of mind that the website is secure as we deploy numerous updates on a daily basis
Intruder is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder is easy to use and even easier to set up. Ideal for orgs that care greatly about their security, but don't yet have a fully matured InfoSec team. I especially appreciated the ease of connecting with other tools and services -- from the obvious ones like AWS and GCP to creating a Zapier automation that makes tickets for failing checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall layout and design of the website & tool could use some graphic design love. I think that the quality of the product is a bit obscured by the uninviting UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Intruder, we're continuing to stay ahead of potential threats and remain SOC2 compliant while our organization is still only double digits in headcount.
Intruder helps us keep patched and safe
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder acts as a continual pen-tester for our servers, regularly monitoring our systems and checking that the latest available patches are applied and vulnerabilities mitigated or addressed. It provides some peace of mind that our security is up to date, hopefully making us less likely to fall victim to malware or other types of virus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The policy of having to wait 4 weeks to reuse a licence when one is released can be frustrating. For example, we have just replaced 4 domain controllers, we now have to wait four weeks to be able to re-use the licences taken from the old ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a clear dashboard and overview of our server estate, proactively alerting us to potential issues and providing remediation advice. It helps the server team keep on top of threats and enables oversight to ensure they are addressed.
Great Tool to Be Proactive in Network Security
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder is a great tool for getting visibility to your infrastructure. One of the best features is the report for the endpoint. The detals about vulnerabilities, the details where the vulnerability was deteted within the targets system, and remediation tactics give a great starting point for taking action. With these reports on targets, I am able to be proactive in my approch to securtiy rather than reactive to an exploited vulnerabilty.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like that I cannot dig deeper into a target's file system to scan for data that could be targeted in an attack. The greatest opportunity I see with Intruder is that the tool that I would like the ability to do is scan the file system for personally identifiable information. Not being able to dive deeper into the target to see what the file system contains and look for data that would be targeted should someone gain unauthorized access to a resource. I
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder is allowing us to be proactive in our approach to network security. Scanning a device for potential threats and then filling or monitoring those gaps saves time. In testing the tool, we identified an exiisting threat in one of our systems that we were unaware of. We were able remediate the vulnerability before it could be exploited. The benefits of this tool are it saves time and resources.
Easy to use and comprehensive
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder has been easy to setup and easy to use. Within just a few hours we'd had our first scans completed and had been presented with a PDF report which was just what we needed to demonstrate compliance. Would certainly reccommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scans can sometimes be a little slow, though this is no big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder is helping us demonstrate our compliance with ISO 27001.
