Great for the Continuous Learner
What do you like best about the product?
The skill assessments help to guide you to the right content, and effectively highlight the subjects where you should focus your efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The content typically lacks testing and challenges that would help to reinforce knowledge as you are learning. That reinforcement is largely left up to the learner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight skills provides a wide range of content, allowing me to sample broadly and find courses that interest me.

Subscription nightmare
What do you like best about the product?
Actual skill management works ok. You can see teams progress and there quite a good choice of courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription management is total nightmare. There is no way to update your settings and licenses when team and needs change. We
After number of failed attempts to fix this I decided to switch to Udemy. But that was the hardest thing of all. There is no way to cancel your subscription in portal and only way to unsubscribe is through the support. And that is impossible because they respond only with automated messages and nobody takes responsibility of the matter. It took tons of emails to finally get a receipt the subscription was cancelled.
And still, we were charged 2 years after cancellation - since there is no way to remove your credit card either. It has been a total nightmare to get rid of Pluralsight.
Use free trials but I strongly advice not to leave your credit card there.

Providing learning paths for software pros
I am learning multiple technological and variety of skills. Always I get professional training.
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of different technologies and levels of advancement. Also not only coding but also planning, architecture, dev ops. And more.
What do you dislike about the product?
That Cloud courses are separated, this could be all in one subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most relevant advantage of ps is courses on demand. You don't need to get offline to hole time at a time. Also is very updated all new knowledge and trending technologies are there.
Site with the knowledge needed for IT. Though some is outdated
What do you like best about the product?
That a course exists for most of the skills i need to acquire quickly, within IT. Also that there are specific course routes to take, to learn the most on a subject. The courses are always thought through and very professional
What do you dislike about the product?
Some courses are outdated, to a point that they are no longer useful, and there may not be newer courses on the subject.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a platform where i know that all courses are highly curated and professional, with a lot of different areas is very useful. Having to find different tutorials can be very confusing.
Pluralsight not for me
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using the Pluralsight Skills web app for a while now, and there are aspects of it that I truly appreciate. One of the key features that stands out to me is the organization of courses into paths, each containing several related courses. This setup provides a structured learning experience, guiding users through a cohesive curriculum.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the courses themselves are well-made and informative, I find myself missing a crucial component: practical application. While the videos offer valuable insights and explanations, learning solely through passive consumption isn't the most efficient method for me. I believe that true mastery comes from applying newly acquired knowledge in practical projects or through code examples.
In an ideal learning environment, I would love to see more emphasis on hands-on exercises, coding challenges, or real-world projects integrated into the platform. This would not only reinforce the concepts taught in the videos but also provide a more engaging and interactive learning experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to Pluralsight was provided by my company as a means for me to improve my technical skills. While this initiative has certainly helped broaden my understanding and provided valuable theoretical knowledge across various technologies, it falls short in terms of directly translating that knowledge into practical application within my job role.
I find myself wishing for more opportunities to bridge the gap between theory and practice. While the platform excels in delivering educational content, the absence of practical application within the context of my specific job responsibilities limits its effectiveness in directly impacting my day-to-day tasks.

I would like some more hands on material
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to explain new subjects
Best learning resource I've found online
What do you like best about the product?
The courses are well laid out and cut to the point, I have used pluralsight for a few months now and feel it has taught me many valuable skills that are relevant to my job role and material is frequently updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more practical labs would be useful and solidify the skills learnt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides learning new things which Is a never ending pursuit within the technology field, it provides a resource I can refer back to and find material that can help me solve an issue I am currently facing at my workplace. There are many courses on all IT subjects and great to have all the content I am interested in within one website.
