  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The course structure is organised and covers all the required details in depth. The UI is amazing. I like the notes feature where we can pause and add our own notes. The list of topics is very exhaustive and deep.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some courses look a bit dragged, slowly moving where I have to increase the playback speed to compensate for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can get started with a lot of domain knowledge just by searching for the topic on Pluralsight. The list of topics Pluralsight has is huge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilise the exercises and assessment along with video content

What do you like best about the product?
Wide scale of topics and the quality of the presentations on the videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few number of interactive courses (only the ex-codeschool ones were migrated and since that no new ones created) with live coding availability on the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software development. I was able to switch to Scala with Java background.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very high valued training platform to develop IT tech skills

Excellent content for my development pathway

What do you like best about the product?
Breadth of content on Microsoft tech. Being a dot net developer it is really important that I keep on top of everything. Pluralsight gives me the latest tech / trends in the dotnet and azure space with courses from beginner to expert which are easily digestible, great examples and well delivered. Without this, it would be very hard to keep up with everything
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough content on aws currently, if there was then this would be a very content rich platform. That’s where a cloud guru currently win (regarding aws).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up to date with current tech and trends. Making sure I slowly chip away at knowledge gaps and also bring the development teams knowledge to a certain.standard
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At least trial it. The depth and quality of material will no doubt improve any developer therefore improving your product

Very good platform to find specific subject and gain extra knowledge.

What do you like best about the product?
It's getting better. I like that I have found specific position related (Data Engineer) learnings synthesized in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Consistency. It would be great to have learnings for one subject, let's say programming languange where you can start from A and finish in Z with many details in each level. To be sure, that after the course you will actually will be ready to write some code, not just read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting new knowledge of programming languanges.

One stop for mastering technical skills

What do you like best about the product?
I was a .NET winforms developer for a long time. When I got a project on WPF, pluralsight helpeed me to learn WPF in very quick time. Now I am undergoing .NET core and MVC courses. All the courses have rich content and presented by highly skilled instructors. Adding to that pluralsight's additional features like offline watching, video speed control, skill evaluation tests - they all add up to make it a great learning center.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. I can suggest something which can benifit beginners. I think if there were playlists from start to end and from beginners to expert, it will be benificial. I know we can create our own playlist, but many time people won't have an idea of what and they have to learn to start their career. For example, to learn ASP.NET core, there should be a playlist which assures the learner that it coveres al that is needed to be an expert.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building an ASP.NET application using Service Fabric microservice platform. PluralSight helped me to quickly understand micrososervices and ServiceFabric concepts and get started really fast in the project.

What do you like best about the product?
PluralSight provides incredible training at a great price. I love that pretty much anything I could want learn has some form of training available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were more lab resources/interactive resources rather than just video courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The financial benefit of pluralsight is exponential. The amount of money I would have spent on books or other courses is saved by using pluralsight.

Condensed Information - what you need when you need

  • May 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight presentations give you a structured , condensed treatment of the subject. What you need to know in a nutshell while still touching on the little aspects you need to know to do the job. If you need to know it and you need it from the people who know what they are doing Plurasight is a good source for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I usually find myself not wanting it to end. The courses are to the point and well presented. This is very little excess to them and you often want their to be more. It is not common or easy to come upon information distilled down into a solid information flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am learning new technologies having worked in the business of IT for the past 30 years. The information is presented in a way to keep your attention and stay relevant with being too simplistic. It is to the point and sincere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good site for instruction videos. Clear and to the point presentations with relevant information

Great Experience on Pluralsight

  • May 23, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can search for a specific topic you're interested in or you can choose a path to a certification (such as Network+, ITIL, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a video series I'm taking now that appears to be the only one on that subject (preparing for an industry certification) and I just realized they have a new version of the exam. So now I need to research what the differences are in the updated exam, and it would've been great to have known that information beforehand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight has been awesome for me. I recently got hired for my first IT job, so I really love the fact that I could look up something I need to know more about (such as troubleshooting or registry editing) and there are probably several videos to choose from.

I like being able to get in depth descriptions of how to use new technologies by people who are very familiar with that tech. I often bookmark courses and refer back when I run into problems
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues being able to ask questions on older courses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Pluralsight to learn Angular, RxJS, C#, App security, testing... when we get stuck on an issue I can usually find a Pluralsight course to help solve it
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s great for learning new tech or brushing up skills
