Great Content, Offline Support and Progress Assessment.

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Progress Assessment is my favorite feature in Pluralsight. They help me understand my progress. Channels allow me to have difference course tracks. Excellent support for mobile devices (Android, iOS, Phones and Tablets).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes courses don't re-open at the right place. This makes finding exact spot you left off, a bit of a challenge. Rest is almost perfect. Notes functionality needs some work. During a video, I can't seem to take notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning about new technology and getting a quick jumpstart on a tech stack. I have been able to do this repeatedly with multiple technology. Great instructor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perfect to start your learning and have a sustainable progress. Great courses with excellent instructors.

The most advanced tutorials site that I've seen

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Paths feature is really good. You choose a language or topic and then you can test yourself to find your SkillIQ and gauge what sort of training you need in that topic. It allows you to skip tutorials that you may already know.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tests aren't as good as I thought they would be. The timer on the questions page stays at the top, so if you scroll down on a long question, you lose sight of how much time you have left for that answer.

It also states that if you answer an easy question, the next question will be harder, but I found on one scenario this wasn't the case. It may have been early stages in the release of it and hopefully it will get better over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to target our weaker or needed skills as a team and focus on training them. Even if a course isn't described with a certain word it has tags associated with a topic it may be relevant in that allows Pluralsight to suggest it to you. I have found a few new technologies to learn about just by the way it's been set up.

Perfect for any platform

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way the content is arranged for every course and it perfectly fits every platform. I consume it on my W10, on my S8 and on a Nexbox device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes speaker speak too fast but you can throttle the speed speech. I would like to have a learning check mechanism that allows you to progress only if you pass the check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved my work proficiency.

One stop platform for all your learning needs

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most on Pluralsight is the variety of topics covered for all sorts of technical needs. You think of a topic to learn, and you will find a course here. What makes it better is the paths created for all technical goals and the training programs categorized for you as Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, so that you can pick up based on your skill level. Also, introduction of Skill IQ measure tells you where you stand!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see topics at more advanced level. Also, apart from gaining theoritical knowledge, it would be great to have inbuilt platform to have hands-on experience. Also, it would be fair to somehow add lab experience (by introducing online editor) so that we do not have to look at some other online editor and do all our hands on exercises here only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pluralsight to improve my technical skills and to learn more about new technologies. Also, we use Pluralsight as eLearning content through our corporate learning portal. I have definitely improced my technical skills, thanks to wide variety of topics covered through the PluralSight platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great platform for all learning needs. I have always thought of PluralSight as my first stop to find a course for improving my skills. Thanks a lot and keep doing best!
