Great Training and Variety!

  • October 09, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The variety of options for training modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interactive code school was removed, and that was probably the best feature and the one I liked the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training our staff to meet the company's IT demands. We have been able to decrease training in class room settings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would have told you to absolutely do Pluralsight for the code school alone! Now, with that stripped out, and the training moved from interactive, to videos, the coding training is not as great. However, there is still a wealth of knowledge to be gained from the sight, on about every IT related topic you are searching for!

Great online learning platform but has the potential to be the best

  • October 09, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Pluralsight is that it has wide variety of courses in every field. The courses are really good and explanation by the instructor is makes the hard course seem easy. It also has a good mobile application, which makes the learning more accessible. It also provides really nice feature of assessing ones knowledge for free once you complete your course.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the course content is not updates in accordance to the certification path that Pluralsight provides. This causes confusion when you are learning for certain certification on Pluralsight. Additionally, the instructors of the courses are rarely active on discussion board to help solve/discuss peoples problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight helps empower our employees to learn and implement the best industry standards. This platform has many certification courses which our employees to take and get certified without spending thousands of dollars for each certification.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great platform for you to learn hard things the easy .

Training on almost any technology you might want to know about.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes courses from acquisitions don't fit in with the rest of the Pluralsight courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight gives me a very easy way to train members of my team on whatever technology they need to know for a current project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Considering the value and number of courses you get from a subscription I believe it is well worth the price.

Excellent Self Paced Learning Opportunities

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the ever expanding library of courses, it's easy to stay current with emerging technologies and the latest updates to established ones with Pluralsight.
What do you dislike about the product?
The removal of Code School was a real bummer, I wish Pluralsight had expanded upon code School instead of just combining the material into the Pluralsight catalog. The interactivity of Code School made it an exceptionally useful platform for learning software development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep our developers up to date on the latest technologies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pluralsight is an excellent learning platform for anyone in the information technology field.

Implementing Containers on Windows Server 2016

  • October 09, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The basic understanding and concept of Containers, the process of using containers in Windows and how to implement and manage containers. The course is brilliant for beginners in getting started in using Containers on Windows. I made every effort to find references on Containers on Windows on the internet, but Pluralsight was the only informative course available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think more could be done, on labs. I.e scenario based examples, something similar to Linux Academy interactive guide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Containerising our windows app for on-premise and the cloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
provide interactive guides and labs, Train signal previously had several for Exchange etc.

We are helping our IT staff to get accustomed to new technologies and also helping to refresh on things that are already known. It also gives a look a how much we value training.
