Very frustrated
I am very frustrated with this tool. First of all there is no 24x7 support as it is claimed. It's 2-3 people team. We support several clients who are interested in modern lake house platforms, so one of the considerations was Amorphic. The client was interested in a demo. I wanted to get a trial version to show how the tool works. It took 3 weeks to get a trial version as it's extremely complicated to subscribe at a market place & then someone of technical support has to do the setting. Even technical support team needed product team's help to get the trial set up. I never got a chance to use the tool , immediately after couple of weeks as it was a month end I see $350 bill without even using it. I don't even see any option to unsubscribe, again it's super complicated to even unsubscribe. This is totally unfair when I get charged without using the tool & have to go through several hoops to even get unsubscribed. There is no mention of how the charge occurs, in AWS standard tools it's explained nicely & it's genuinely pay per use. Amorphic started charging me for no reason. I am still going through the process to get unsubscribed.
