Excelent product, fast, reliable and with great support
What do you like best about the product?
The support of Intersystems is great. The Iris product is easy to learn and have support to all recent technologies, like containers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uses a lot of storage and the online community is not big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very easy to implement a database in Iris. You can work throught SQL or throught objects.

The platform is easy to set up and have all the connectivities you need to cmmunicate with the world
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that the documentation is not a little bit weak but you have the Intersystems Community to get questions answered

Storing tons of data and have access to it in milliseconds from different applications like webservers, Java applications and REST components.

If you need stored data the fastest way - It is the right decision.

Caché is reliable, robust and has incredible performance on massive transactional data. I work for big companies with an huge database and is very performatic.

It's hard to recruit experienced professionals because Intersystems technology is not too common

Integration of multiple provieders using interoperability and very performatic database helped to solving a 24/7 system for clinical diagnosis

Create APIs in seconds, Database acces fast, quick integration... this is the best application ever. This version use Docker, therefore you can implement quick your applications. Do you need more?

If you need a quick install and deployment, needs docker, and this tech is not available in all customers.

This is the best tool for interoperatibility, you can create APIs in few minutes. Very quick access in database. Using the power of Docker, the implementation is easy, secure and quick. You don't need more applications never.

Performance and resource efficiency is excellent and the built in programming language and features are extremely powerful.
Intersystems themselves also offer excellent support and help.

Licensing costs need to be considered but considering all the extras included over a traditional darta only database this is not necessarily an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast performance, rapid development, excellent tools available to add feeatures with little effort.
IRIS is the next level in operatebility, sustainability and reliability.

Building API’s, Business processes and even BI it can al be done within this product. The super fast database makes it possible to perform on superb levels (real-time).
What do you dislike about the product?
There may be a little tweaking in the users interface of the management portal.
