Sisense review
What do you like best about the product?
The more we utilize Sisense, the more we discover opportunities to improve our procedures with the software. We just added a movie to a dashboard to demonstrate to new users how the dashboard functions and how it fits into their everyday job responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense needs specific skills to work, so it's hard to find people who know how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several methods to display the information in the primary problem. The primary objective is usability. Sisense is straightforward to use in general. It makes the product easy for more individuals to utilize.
Powerful Enterprise BI Platform for every business
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense does a very good job of doing the basics, like querying databases, creating data models, creating dashboards from those data models, etc. The user interface is visually appealing and easy to navigate. It offers a full suite of functionality with detailed training and onboarding for users who are new to the system, and even if you are new to the concept of visualizations, you can orient yourself to the system and its logic to get up to speed very quickly and effortlessly without any issue. The product is designed to be used or developed by a multitude of users, from beginners to advanced users. What do you dislike about the product?
It cannot be custom styled very mcuh. We sometimes have to write scripts to perform sometimes simple options. Our on premise server can sometimes need a reboot but we are running on an old version. Sisense are focusing on Linux and we are on Windows. We ran a trail upgrade and not much had changed. I would like to see more widgets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is giving us a faster and deeper understanding of our Business . We are also using this for operational purposes too. We have 3 large wallboards presenting Sisense statistics that our operations team use on a day to day basis. We are pulling data from all our systems. We also have Sisense embedded in our core business solution for our clients to utilise as well
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would look to use the Linux version and using their own managed cloud environment rather than on premise

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense provides a training course that is extremely beneficial to understanding how the platform works. The compatibility the software has with other applications makes it easy to use and useful to utilize at my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only discrepancy I noticed while using it was that I had to switch back and forth between the academy and the actual platform for testing. If it was incorporated within the academy so that I could test and learn it would be a very effective training simulation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Sisense I am comparing the data that I currently have to determine the effectiveness of our company's methodologies. This is beneficial for visual purposes making it easier to display what I want and what the company wants to see.

It's very quick to learn.
Initial impressions of Sisense are very positive, but training quality could improve.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make insightful visualizations of the data. Easy to update monitor, and create regular reporting for end-users to make the most informed decisions possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data exists in an elasticube model. My current understanding is that Sisense relies on the user being intimately knowledgeable of the data before working in Sisense. It would be beneficial to be able to view the underlying tables and data when necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently going through training to get up to speed. I understand the business uses Sisense in order to create dashboards and reporting for various end-users and department managers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Training needs some work, but the software seems intuitive and easy to pick up. However, be careful about allowing users who are unfamiliar with the data to use Sisense.

maybe have a desktop product also...dedicated community page(not sure if this is already done)

driving insights in the contact center domain.option for usres to forecast was really helpfull

If you are looking for some better alternative for business intelligence with add on features like fusion analytics this is must use tool for data analytics team

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense allows users to view the report as a whole, or they can dive deeper by drilling down specific data points to see the underlying data. In addition, Sisense offers some AI capabilities that perform additional analysis for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense has this Elastic Cube data model for all of your data connections. I would like to see connectors for direct access to more data sources, such as Google Ads, Salesforce, LinkedIn, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sisense to track how our products are performing over time. It helps us understand which products are customers buys the most and what they buy the least.

There is a learning curve, so take notes and take it slow.

The custom codes section is a most helpful section, I learned new things here.

This course could be in more detailed in terms of Data modeling, but overall good experience

Sisense is a good Visualization tool, very helpful to analyze large data & easy to use. we can use different customizations with Sisense.
Great Analytics Platform for Simply and Easily Creating Valuable Reports
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is very easy to use and allows for pulling from many different data sources through its elasticubes. The creation of dashboards is easy, and many different visualizations are allowed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes bugs and errors related to plugins and downloading of excels. Also, customization of "pixel-perfect", custom-formatted reports is not an option or requires extensive outside plugins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating dashboards for the organization. Simple to use both as a developer and as a user. Easier access to information that is important to users through dashboards and reports.
Making data intelligent
What do you like best about the product?
The more we use Sisense, the more we discover new ways to update our processes using the product. For example, we've recently attached a video to a dashboard that provides new users with an overview of the dashboard and how it integrates with their daily work responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occassionally, Sisense likes to choose it's own path to aggregate data and while that concept may be helpful for many situations / users creating a dashboard, it can cause my team challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving classic info intelligence problems - lots of data to sift through and we need a flexible tool to help us make progress. We've been able to train several end users on the basics and they are now creating their own views of information to analyze.
