Also it was pretty easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
There some features that I couldn't implement from Client's requirement like sorting the graph or sorting the legend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't take a long to make changes when clients asked to do so.
Great People, Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
The Sisense team is always ready to answer my questions. Meeting to share our concerns or demonstrate challenges always results in not only a solution, but also additional tips and opportunities to make our experience using Sisense even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are always pushing what Sisense does just a bit, upgrading to the latest release as soon as possible. It can be frustrating at times when new features don't work perfectly with our Sisense data cubes and dashboards, but the team is always there to help us figure it out and get the right solution in our hands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are taking data from multiple manufacturing sites and combining it for a single view of the end-to-end process across the globe. We are able to create a unified view of our processes, demands and forecasted results.
Great experience with some nuances
What do you like best about the product?
It's relatively intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no Left Join capabilities which causes issues when modelling data directly from a transactional db
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing dashoards with actionable insights to our customers. Before Sisense it was too difficult to visualize large amounts (multi-terabytes) of data
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Without easy Left Join capabilities, be sure you will have your data structured in a way that will return all needed rows from your transactional DB.
Great Analytics tool, Easy to learn and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
DAshboard creation made easy and simple. Good Customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
The infrastructure cost to set up and maintain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial analytics
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a properly designed Cube, then analytics becomes very easy to the end user who doesn't need any knowledge on analytics.
BI tool useful for creating dashboards, however not all functions are intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
Very good at displaying basic widgets, such as graphs and charts. I like the web implementation aspect of this software. The mobile app is nice and works much better than some other BI tools that are in circulation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mapping is lacking in its current state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Display KPI to internal/external clients across a variety of clients and programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This BI tool does a great job of displaying basic metrics, however it's "more complex" widgets sometimes fail or are not user friendly. In order to use Blox (for example) you need to be versed in JSON, in order to have state boundaries on a map, it appears we need to pay for a plugin for that to be displayed, whereas this comes standard almost anywhere else.
Overall very good experience and learning everyday
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not an advanced user, meaning I mostly create metrics and dashboards with existing databases. What I like best is how Sisense is smart and thus easy in the creation of metrics and how the data visualization options are great in terms of variety and beautiful in design.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online community is still not very strong and occasionally I struggle to find tips on how to solve problems online. Sometimes it's just a minor issue that would not require support from the IT teams if the online support was more helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly providing better visibility to business executives on revenue and margin trends. It has helped us being more efficient as we don't concentrate the information anymore and we don't have to create weekly updates anymore. I'm sure it also helps business executives make better decisions taking into account the context that they have and sometimes we don't.

Implementing Custom reports are not much easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our business scenarios worked very well.
Excellent product to visualize data and presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is an extremely helpful tool to get a look-and-feel of data. It provides you with the platform to explain data in a chart/picture/graph format, which immensely helps in visualizing the data. You can make drop-down charts, geographical maps, bubble charts, scatter plots, bar and column charts and whatnot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has fewer functionalities compared to other popular tools like Tableau, Power BI etc. Also, it is less intuitive compared to others. There is an add-on hassle of building cubes first and then presenting to a chart structure. It becomes difficult for the developer to understand the logic of cube building and then modelling it. Straight-forward implementation of charts is not present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very difficult to explain raw data to end-user. As very well said that "pictures speak louder than words". Sisense helps the developer to provide a pictorial representation of the raw data. There are various options to choose from like bar chart, pie chart, geographical representation etc. It becomes extremely easy for the end-user to comprehend the information presented. We use Amazon Redshift for the database in our organization. It is extremely easy to connect with the database and present to the user the information in the pictorial format without even going through the raw data in tabular form.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone who is in the field of Business Intelligence or Data Analytics or Data Science should try sisense. At first, it would look a little difficult to work with it, but it becomes easy and when you continue using it.
Sisense is the best Data Analytics software out there
What do you like best about the product?
As far as Business Intelligence tools are concerned, I think Sisense is the best in the market. The following are the few things I like about Sisense:

4. Sisense REST API
5. Wide range of widgets to choose from when building a dashboard
6. Creating custom columns in Sisense
7. Integrating Sisense with webpages worked out very well for us
8. Sharing dashboard and datamodel between groups and users
9. Build failure notifications can be integrated, we can receive notification though Google Chat, Slack etc
10. Dashboard can be exported as PDF
11. Sisense has online training sessions that help people get onboarded to Sisense fast
12. Drills down data to its finest granularity
13. Frequent updates
14. Sisense is very easy to use

What do you dislike about the product?
Here are some of the things I have found concerning:
I have noticed a few bugs with the plugins but nothing major so far
When we upgrade to a new version, the dashboards do not work the way they are expected to
There could be an automation for directly moving dashboards and Elasticubes from one environment to another.
The documentation can be improved
Sisense is a little too expensive I believe.
