Sisense For Next Generation Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is a tool that helps providing great visualization. The cube functionality is back bone for this. Also it storage meta data into the mongodb that helps the performance tracking of dashboards. The are really great visualization, tabber functionality, connecting R and Python and doing time series analysis over here is super. It is very easy to create a cube and dashboard over it. It is like plug in. There is additional capability like creating your customer addon on java script and appending into this. There one additional awesome feature that is adding the other source dashboard into the sisense via iframe. It uses simple odbc connection. There is solid community support as well as well explain documents about its functionality. If I talk about data connection then it support most of the connection like excel, good sheet, custom query, redshift, sql etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is few constrain like case when doesn't support character data for condition. There is very few functionality of machine learning aspects etc. It is required to have more chart from d3 library. There is additional functionality required that can solve the problem of olap (online analytical processing) problems. Like defining the dimension. layer, hierarchy etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is used for reporting the all the possible business question a business leader can ask. It is very easy to use and very intuitive to understand. Business leaders with no tech experience, liked it very much.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to solve your end to end reporting and analytics problem, i would highly recommend to use the Sisense. It can solve your problem very easily and intuitively

What do you like best about the product?
UI (look and feel):
Interms of UI, sisense outrun most of its counterparts. I personally really like the way the reports look in sisense dashboards.
Functionality:
We were able to fulfill all kinds of requirements with sisense so far.
Support:
We were always felt really supportive whenever a support ticket or a query is raised to the sisense support. Kudos to the customer centric approach. Thanks for all the support.

What do you dislike about the product?
Stability:
Most of the time, the main problem has been the stability of the application. Almost 90% of users has reported slowness of the issues. It could be due to the bad design of the datasources or dashboards. But, it has been a consistent problem.
Intermittent build failures due to various reasons has been a consistent problem.
Intermittently sisense shows wrong build status. After refresh, it shows correct.
Functionality:
Derived metrics (formulaes) cannot be created and stored at datasource level. So it has to be recreated for every dashboard that uses the same elasticube.
Migration (promoting dashboards and datasources to higher environments):
There could have been more smooth approach for migration.

Representation of the items and its User Interference. Clear Appearance of the columns and Attributes. Well distributed the chart formats and different table view options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance of the cubes during open as its slow while opening need to improve on this part.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, very flexible, updates frequently, and almost no downtime

It takes some time to get used to the interface
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense to monitor and track operational data.
Excellent technology for visualizing data
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to import data from multiple sources makes it very versatile. If there is a key that can be referenced to connect the data between the sources, the data can be collated and merged with great ease. The variety of data that it accepts also makes it very attractive - varieties of databases, individual files, even major web services from Google, Amazon, Salesforce, etc, can all be added into a single data cube and connected together1.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve that comes with figuring out Sisense - mainly the UI. This is a hefty product with a great deal of features/capabilities, so this is to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working with Sisense via Insights on Maximizer - a CRM platform that handles Address Book, Leads, Opportunities, Customer Service cases, etc. This solves the problem of consolidating bulky filtering UIs into a very simple interactive dashboard that achieves the same thing with a couple of clicks. It also offers a great deal of visual graphs and reports that would otherwise take a great deal of configuration and programming to achieve.
Sisense analytics gives a great overview of our organization's data
What do you like best about the product?
The graphs are really neat in their presentation and allow us several ways of viewing the analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it seemed that integrating with our organization's spreadsheets would be a simple thing to do, but this has proven to be quite difficult - with changes by Google to their Google Sheets API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track behaviour change of users who come to our sites. Sisense allows us to easily review their responses to courses, quizzes and surveys, and lets us see where users might have dropped off, perhaps because content is too complex or needs to be explained in more detail.
Sisense is easy to start build dashboards and reports.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and fast to build dashboards. Very nice for start with BI.
What do you dislike about the product?
They were few minor things that I didn't like, but it I can't reckon anything now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit was that we could answer client questions very easy and fast.

Choose Sisense because it relatively easy, and nice administrate.

Specific skilling is needed for operating Sisense, so little tough to get trained people on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an e-commerce product company. In very high-level language, we are getting a clearly picture of the conversion ratio. It has helped in evaluating the loss and profit margins when platform fluctuate. We can visualise easily in Sisense.
Powerful BI tool that is also easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clear and easy to use and the data design tools are powerful and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a resource hog and needs a lot of power under the hood to run. Not sure how it compares to other BI tools in that regard so it may just be the nature of the amount of data being used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a ton of data and needed a way to pull it all together and try to gain some insight into where we were strongest and where we were weakest. Sisense has made it possible to sort through all of that.

1. Data building taking time on large tables.Elastic cube design/model is decides the dashboard performance
2.I haven't an option to add new customised roles
3. Adding new connectors requires knowledge on data base.It is not as simple as just adding database supported jar file.We have to perform additional action item on downloaded files from cdata.
