Great Place to Build BI Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
The way that you build the dashboards with your data is fairly intuitive so that you can pull additional insights out of your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of the dashboard visualizations that are not as easy as others, but once you learn the software it gets easier over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking to find new ways to look at our data and present it to key stakeholders.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We had a very smooth implementation from building the Elasticube to creating the dashboards and reports. The data modeling and setup was quick and we implemented Sisense within a couple months. Changes to the data model can be made quick and easy with no assistance from Sisense.
The UX is user friendly and it's usually pretty quick to update and add new reports/dashboards. We embed the solution into our application for our customers and Sisense has a lot of flexibility with user/group based roles. Their permission system that segments the data nicely. We also like how each user can have their own custom dashboard. Overall our customers are satisfied with the tool.
The team we worked with at Sisense for the implementation was very helpful in getting us up and running very quickly. The ongoing support we have received has also been very helpful. They frequently check in with us and provide updates on their new functionality and roadmap.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were some limitations initially with sharing reports but I believe they have added one of the main features we were waiting on. We just need to upgrade our version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We embed Sisense into out application so we can offer robust analytics to our customers so they can see how their users and site are performing. Overall our customers are happy with the solution. We also use it to collect analytics on our customers and how they are using our application.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature set that is most engaging is the drill down ability within the dashboard and security and layered story-telling that is available. I can restrict drill paths thus engaging desired visual workflows through data discovery. This has helped democratize our data while still enforcing newer data governance, and help our organization level of data literacy increase.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Sisense we have a DB2 architecture within some of our application and data warehouse repositories. There have been consistent issues requiring troubleshooting to resolve these items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are currently solving is simplifying the complexity of our data for our end users. The visual stories we are able to tell, and then be able to force certain navigation paths through are helping us delivery engaging conversations with both external stakeholders, through value creation conversations as well as internal stakeholders helping automate some of the required reporting. We have seen significant time savings in automation of the reporting we do for some of our internal reporting requirements that alleviates high impact personnel to work on profit centered activities instead of reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sisense is meant for middle market participants, it doesn't tip as best in class at any one thing. It does however compete as a strong contender for a lot of the value levers for a visualization and analytics suite.

Do complete the trainings first they are really useful
Sisense has been a workhouse, and a reliable product.

Once data is assembled, putting dashboards together can be done very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data assembly is not as robust as we might like. We do a lot of pre-processing ourselves in a Data Warehouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Operational Reporting. Team Performance monitoring. Client Visibility. It has let us build a single set of dashboard and expose those internally or externally without double-maintenance.

Take advantage of professional services and support. Keep communication lines open.

Best BI Tool for Handling Big Data
What do you like best about the product?
About me i have 8 years of working experience and i have worked on several BI Tools in my journey like Tableau,Obiee, Power BI, SISENSE etc.
And i found SISENSE to be more user friendly and it is well ahead of its competitors in these areas and it has very interactive features for a user stand point.
If you're looking for highly interactive and embeddable dashboards then go with SISENSE :-)

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of community plugins and custom java scripts which we can use to make our dashboards more interactive.
But those needs to be capture somewhere in the consolidated way so we can utilise those things as well.

We are dealing with several KPI’s which we are showing through SISESNE.
It can give user a good story telling dashboards.

You want Analytics, Sisense it is then - Beautiful Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense provides the best of both worlds, BI as well beautiful analytics using their ElastiCube framework & Dashboards . The highly configurable nature of sisense has enabled us to integrate it with our application with such ease. Also Sisense is a RESTFUL application thus enabling us write scripts to do stuff using python language. The support team of sisense is very prompt in resolving any queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense does version upgrades fast and often does not ensure complete clean support for users on previous version, Any code you would have written around their application REST framework might sometimes require you to re-write after upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are integrating sisense to provide Analytical power to our application as well as a Reporting tool. It enables our customers to do reporting in a much better way using Sisense Dashboards.

Embedded visualizations. After the initial onboarding effort is completed, it's easy to create powerful visualizations and glean insights from the presented data.
Great tool! Very easy to use and provides all types of insight to all types of teams!

I like the easy to use features of Sisense and the ability to customize dashboards to the unique look you desire! I really like that custom formulas are very easy to use as compared to some other BI applications that I've used in the past.
I also like the different visual effects/data visualization abilities that Sisense has to offer!
Best of all is that the application is web-based and can be used from anywhere and has the ability to have your dashboards quickly/easily published so that all users can view the results with a quick click of a button! Out of all of the BI/Data blending tools I've used, I like SiSense the most!

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike about Sisense, but most of the issues that I do encounter involve issues with the application timing out (mainly when using Pivot table widgets or widgets involving Tables with aggregation). I wish that there was an ability to add easier to use sliders onto our dashboards so that view-only users could easily filter the pivot without having to use the filtering menu.
Previously, I used Tableau, so there was a bit of a learning curve (mainly dealing with formulas), but I was still able to catch on quickly after doing Sisense Masters training program.

I have not experienced too many issues/problems with the Sisense application, but most of the issues that I do encounter involve issues with the application timing out (mainly when using Pivot table widgets or widgets involving Tables with aggregation). Even after filtering the cube down to a relatively small dataset, the application can sometimes run somewhat slow when loading a dataset.
However, I have been able to add dashboards of all types that add a lot of value to our organization and to my regular job duties. In the past, I was building SQL queries that not only took a long time to build, but that also required a lot of "combing through" the data to ensure that the results were accurate. Now, I am able to quickly pull up the data and will quickly notice if something is off since I have the ability to see the results visually.
