Sisense is awesome tool with its cool built-in functions
What do you like best about the product?
I really like functionality where you can filter out your KPI and create comparisons so easy.
You just need to add parentheses and column that you want to filter by - very simple whereas in other tools it takes so much work arounds.
Here it is literally (SUM(KPI), CITY) and you get sum filtered by whichever city you want just in this single metric.
I also like the option to drill into the specific fields of the dashboard to get more insights. It is really cool feature that works only if the elasticube is properly built

What do you dislike about the product?
What should be improved is administration. When I want to change connection string of a data source, I would like the change to be applicable to all tables that use this data source without a need to do it for each and every table.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is the platform flexibility. I'm able to add/removed columns easily and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense can be laggy at times, but it usually catches back up after a page refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense allows me to analyze our data and optimize our marketing campaigns in order to maximize ROI. I've realized multiple issues in our campaigns and have been able to resolve the issues so that we don't loos money.

Make sure to click the maximize button in the top left corner of each widget. This will give you the option to add/removed columns and see exactly what you need.

What do you like best about the product?
The design and flow are very simple, comprehensive and clear. from all the BI tools I've worked with, this one has received the best feedback from our end users, they love their simplicity. Another great feature is the elasticube, wich allow BI developers to connect multiple sources & stitch data without additional data infrastructure like a data warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it's hard to say, this is a relly good tool, but i'm substracting 1 point from the perfect score for this tool for 2 main reasons: First, the version I worked with didn't support statistical analysis, projections and statistical packages/languages integration (R, Python) neither in elasticube or the visualization client, so, you may have to preprocess the data to perform this kind of analysis, (In my opnion, the lack of this feature could follow a good practice, since by removing this kind of calculations from the interface increase the tool performance, but i would be great if this feature was enabled on the elasticube or at least enable analytical functions). The second reason is that you require to install a web server to develop dashboards, this causes serveral issues if you have any other tool that requires to install nother local web server. Also it reduces your computer performance, so, be sure to disable the environment when not using it.

I used this tool to built an enterprise BI solution to track business operations from a large company (+2,000 employees) including financial stats, product delivery and performance.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the interface and the flexibility and ease with which Sisense provides the creation of business reports and panels. In addition to this, the new versions and features are always very impressive and facilitate your daily work. Customer service is incredibly responsive and useful, and there is a wealth of support material available online. It's good to note that I find it easy to create a variety of powerful reports that merge data from several different sources to give us really useful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a mobile application, which works as described, but the experience is often unsatisfactory and could definitely be improved. Also, I don't particularly like that there is no accumulated data synchronization function in the Salesforce connector. This limits me a little when integrating the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We collect, analyze and convert data into understandable reports that provide us with valuable information and, in turn, increase the outcome of the business process. We can use Sisense as a single provider that offers a comprehensive solution. It helps us facilitate development. Most departments in my organization are now making decisions thanks to the tool due to the ease of implementing multiple data sources. We are very flattered to have the program and its tools for so long.

Recommended, the speed of reporting will help you move forward with business decisions faster. Use the support material. There is a wealth of information in tutorials, webinars and community forums. You can save time and also optimize revenue.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the interface and the flexibility and ease in which Sisense provides in creating business reports and dashboards. Most importantly, Sisense has the ability to drill down the data we use and also the support offered is great they made sure we were able to get the most value from using this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prior releases had issues with environments setup in a High Availability configuration. It may have been specific to our environment but we had instances where upgrades would break something, like Pulse alerts, and required re-troubleshooting with tech support. I would also like to see a more comprehensive guide and documentation in different areas such as their API designer and some of their SQL design pieces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now collect, analyze and convert data to understandable report which provides us with valuable insights and in turn increases business process outcome. We can use Sisense as a single vendor offering end to end solution. It helps us to facilitate development and debugging. It has feature-rich dashboard widgets and a high ease of development. The speed of delivering BI reports helps us to move forward with business decisions more quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Caution on if the product is mature enough for how their environment is setup. The sales process was smooth dealing with people at Sisense was easy and a good experience overall. I faced stability issue with the web environment but its now getting better.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, being able to link up multiple data sources and linking the data. It saves us a lot of time with our reporting requirements and it can handle large volumes of data very quickly.
The support and account team have also been very helpful whenever we come across any issues and helping to improve our usage of the system.

What do you dislike about the product?
The windows backend it would be good to be able manage the backend on a Mac OS. We will look to move over to Linux when we have a chance to next.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's saving me a lot of time with reports and not having to manually run reports. Everyone else in my team is able to see the reports on a daily basis without having to ask for the information.

Seamlessly Get All Your Data Into One Spot
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to access and consolidate pretty much any data source type that exists (database services, API's, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's a data source that does not have a Sisense data connector already created, creating a custom data connector can be a very cumbersome process and is not guaranteed to work. Chances are you'll have to step through some troubleshooting before getting it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to track several important data points in the student journey allows us to see what we can improve on in the classroom and internally at our company.
A Powerful and Innovative Business Intelligence Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is something our clients really appreciate. It is easy to use, and even the less technical team members at my company are able to create different widgets with ease. Additionally, the embedded analytics offerings are an added benefit, and have certainly become increasingly interesting to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
PDF printing is usually formatted incorrectly, which typically limits our use of the feature. Additionally, expanded capability for the web-based Elasticube would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense has been able to condense a number of our client's daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports into a single dashboard with only a handful of widgets. The ability to drill dynamically into a visualization makes it easy to answer many business questions with only 1 widget.

Attend the annual conference and watch the webinars/read support content to get the full use of the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Use sql to build charts, intergrate with python for more functionality. Simple UI. Quick chart setup and dashbording

Refresh, caching takes too long or never. No drill down. Data explorer very slow in building the query charts. Run code button not floating have to scroll down if long query. Limited python modules. No custom time setting of reloading data

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense has proven to be an excellent BI platform for us. While some formatting requires custom scripting the customer support and development teams have done an excellent job of providing support and incorporating suggestion into the roadmap. They listen!!! The onboarding process for any product is usually dependent on the onboarding team... and our Sisense BI Consultant (included with the product) was excellent. In addition to being intimately familiar with the product, he was also well versed in various data modeling techniques.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting and functionality that you might assume to be built in the front end actually requires custom scripting. Prefer Sisense address this gap in future versions.
