Seamlessly Get All Your Data Into One Spot
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to access and consolidate pretty much any data source type that exists (database services, API's, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's a data source that does not have a Sisense data connector already created, creating a custom data connector can be a very cumbersome process and is not guaranteed to work. Chances are you'll have to step through some troubleshooting before getting it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to track several important data points in the student journey allows us to see what we can improve on in the classroom and internally at our company.
A Powerful and Innovative Business Intelligence Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is something our clients really appreciate. It is easy to use, and even the less technical team members at my company are able to create different widgets with ease. Additionally, the embedded analytics offerings are an added benefit, and have certainly become increasingly interesting to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
PDF printing is usually formatted incorrectly, which typically limits our use of the feature. Additionally, expanded capability for the web-based Elasticube would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense has been able to condense a number of our client's daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports into a single dashboard with only a handful of widgets. The ability to drill dynamically into a visualization makes it easy to answer many business questions with only 1 widget.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Attend the annual conference and watch the webinars/read support content to get the full use of the platform.
Almost perfect tool
What do you like best about the product?
Use sql to build charts, intergrate with python for more functionality. Simple UI. Quick chart setup and dashbording
What do you dislike about the product?
Refresh, caching takes too long or never. No drill down. Data explorer very slow in building the query charts. Run code button not floating have to scroll down if long query. Limited python modules. No custom time setting of reloading data

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense has proven to be an excellent BI platform for us. While some formatting requires custom scripting the customer support and development teams have done an excellent job of providing support and incorporating suggestion into the roadmap. They listen!!! The onboarding process for any product is usually dependent on the onboarding team... and our Sisense BI Consultant (included with the product) was excellent. In addition to being intimately familiar with the product, he was also well versed in various data modeling techniques.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting and functionality that you might assume to be built in the front end actually requires custom scripting. Prefer Sisense address this gap in future versions.

Internal customer scorecard solution with mobile capabilities.

Great support services! This means fast response times and much quicker ramp up/training

Using Sisense for product development
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of usage and full stack capabilities. It is very easy and quickly to go through the whole process from data import to Dashboards publishing. It is easy to create data model and combine data from different data sources. Also Custom SQL queries gives possibility to make data transformations. Dashboards creation is very quick and simple but also gives possibility to make advanced formulas and calculations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price and absence of the timeline of the new features development. Elasticube is hard to drag and navigate when many tables are added. It is hard to move and rearrange data tables by dragging them. Also it is very easy to break the dashboard if any changes of fields names are done in elasticube and Sisense is not alerting about possible issues when filed is used in calculations. Also, when there is need to replace some data field on another for the whole dashboard, there is no easy way to do this in batch, you just need to go and manually change it in each widget and formula.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance measure visualization for monitoring. Data consolidation - when structure of the data is the same in different files. Speed of development is great advantage. Also Sisense provide flexibility to adjust data model easily and develop it further as time goes and changes needed. It is easy to switch to another data source if needed and keep the model structure.

What do you like best about the product?
Regarding the dashboard, I really appreciate the easy way to create different kinds of graphics depending on the information that we want to share. Also, the option to duplicate a file or a single widget makes the work easier and faster. It’s a great point that we can organise the dashboard with as many files as we want to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more variety of designs in the dashboard in relation to the titles and their typography.

We can analyse the global business environment of the client in an easy and clear way, and it's a good way to detect the key insights of the client and the competitive sector.
Highly flexibility in dashboard design
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense allows user to create and design a lot of customized scripts. from widget level to calculated field level. which provides a much higher customization that meets specific needs for the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite a high flexibilities on the widgets and looks, Sisense is unable to perform a grouping in pivot table, which is roll up or roll down that is available for most BI tools, It has a group by function but we cannot create expend and collapse field in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transforming from a fixed period, low interactive excel reporting to a dynamitc 24/7 and interactive business reporting/

business users that don't know SQL feel that their access to data is restricted

Periscope's flexibility made it possible to easily centralize all of our data and its features like dashboard filters greatly improved data accessibility and collaboration within the company

Is one of the best tools for Business intelligence that i have been used because is fast and easy to use. Something that i think that is very usesful are the snippet. This is some new that i never have been in another tool

I think that something that periscope must be improve is the visualizations. Maybe the developers can include more types of charts. Also that i think that is important is that the tool allow upload information from cvs and allow croos this with tables without cache
