Great Business Intelligence and Dashboard tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense stands out for its user-friendly interface and accessible platform, making it easy for users (including non-devs) of different skill levels to create and navigate dashboards. It provides a wide set of features and components that allow us to build detailed and informative dashboards.
In the last couple years, I've used Sisense to create and maintain several dashboards. It's easy to create and implement a new dashboard, connect to multiple data sources and preview a few components (graphs, tables, etc).
The Sisense's dev team is committed to continuous improvement, regularly adding new features to keep the platform at the forefront of data analytics (several in the last 2 years). Additionally, Sisense offers comprehensive documentation, providing users with extensive guides that make our experience smoother. I've used Customer Support a few times and their feedback was really helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The data model is complex, making it difficult to implement custom rules based on user attributes, which limits the flexibility in analytics. Furthermore, the platform struggles with integration with third-party identity managers like Okta and Keycloak, complicating the process of user management and access control. I think these areas could benefit from further development to streamline the user experience and enhance functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense to integrate and analyse data from multiple sources and build comprehensive and interactive dashboards for internal users and external clients.
Great Program. Takes some time to learn as a designer.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible it is. I can create whatever kinds of analytics I want and its easy to share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some work to setup. You have to really take some time to learn the ins and outs. Support at Sisense isn't always the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving how I approach clients with the Customer Success metrics. We use it for a ticketing platform, so I like to see the kinds of tickets they are submitting to our support team, the frequency, and how quickly our team is responding. I get the information quickly and I can see trends and present those trends to our clients.
Excellent way to capture and analyze a lot of data
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense's dashboards and filters allow for viewing a lot of data quickly, slicing it according to what you most want to see. It's also easy to create a *lot* of dashboards. Flexibility is an obvious benefi. If you've a big appetite for analytics, Sisense is a useful partner for viewing patterns.
What do you dislike about the product?
What makes Sisense great is also what makes it occasionally frustrating. There are so many options for viewing data, including what feels like an unlimited number of dashboards, it's easy to drown yourself in data. Learning how to use filters well is crucial for getting the most from Sisense, especially if you're working with a large dataset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense is available to multiple departments. For me, it's a performance analytics tool that shows me how I'm performing in my research work and how all of us together as a team are performing on behalf of our members. Having the data keeps us accountable and helps me to see where I might need to make adjustments.
Great
What do you like best about the product?
I like that sisense gives us a really detailed look at our platform numbers at any time of day. We can give any of our team access to these data points at any time as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a learning curve as with any program I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us know population numbers at certain times of days.
Excellent BI platform with fairly short learning curve for my business users
What do you like best about the product?
Setting Sisense up was not as complicated as we expected. The ease of integration with different data sources (and different types of data sources) is superb. Once the cubes were set up and named properly, business users were quite quick to embrace the new BI platform. Customer support is pretty good most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building cubes sometimes seems too slow (taking their size into account as well). Customer support is not the most focused one in some cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense is helping us surface the important facts from huge data we have so we can steer our decision-making. It's also helping us deliver reports to our clients in a self-serving manner, which is preserving our human resources.

Easily Track & Review Metrics
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, intuitive. I use it everyday to keep track of my daily metrics. It helps me see not only where I am, but see trends in my performance over the long term.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, depending on the amount of data I am pulling, it can take a long time to load. this seems like a msall thing, but it seems to load slowr than comparable apps for other things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am upheld to certain standards of performance and it helps me see, very precisely, where I am at all times regarding those standards. I know exactly where I sit, and if I need improvementin any given area it is easily seen and understood.
Sisense Growth and Partnership
What do you like best about the product?
I've worked with Sisense for over 5 years. The growth in features in response to client requests has continued to expand the capabilities of Sisense. The APIs have been extremely helpful to our teams as well so that we can automate security, shares, and even dashboard creation. Though the switch to live cubes has been difficult and complicated, I love that they are all in on their support of it. They have also been good partners as we have worked through various large migration projects over the years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the gaps between Sisense and some of the industry dominators are diminishing, there are still a number of nice to have features that have not made it into Sisense yet. Date management and emta data for instance still requires creating a dates table with direct links in the model where some others have allowed for more general date tables that can be shared across date fields or are maintained in the platform itself. Everything is very deliberate and intentional in the setup of Sisense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense provides us with the ability to get our management teams on the same page about the state of our business and the industry. It also allows us to create sales opportunity to pass on those and other insights to our clients through shared models build across our clients and consolidated to individual clients.
Great tool for embedded analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is relatively easy to use if you are familiar with data visualization. It has a ton of flexibility and the team is really responsive to support requests. Our CSM meets with us once a month to make sure that everything working well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense is pretty expensive compared to some other alternatives. Our contract quote tripled from the previous contract terms, which makes it hard when it's a similar cost to a senior developer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense to display dashboards to our customers.
A great tool with remarkable basic gaps
What do you like best about the product?
It has a wide range of visualisations, as well as multiple tools in one place, allowing not just one tool but providing a whole ecosystem. It also has a wide range of integrations that allow for greater customisation of the product and the implementation to an existing app is easily done.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest difficulty is its use, I feel that it takes a considerable amount of time to understand how to perform certain operations that in other BI platforms are quite simple such as the creation of certain graphs. I also feel that there are many basic features that are not counted that other tools have had for a long time, on the other hand, the documentation that is available is outdated for the case of developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to model, store and display data to our users.
