anti bot solution does the job
What do you like best about the product?
User is happy with the solution to continue the usage. The support is good for any customisation request. The dashboard can supply insightful info for analsysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not ready, but the solution providers can help to develop and release the new features. Look forward some new feature release in the new future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help to defend our online services and provide an anti-bot solution. We don't need to spend internal resources on developing the solution and can rely on its ready solution.

Reliable KPIs and reduced bandwidth consumption
What do you like best about the product?
We trust DataDome to take care of any unwanted traffic. The dashboard is clear and understandable, and easily configurable. We also have an excellent relationship with the customer success team, they are responsive and always available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, everything is working well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We enable our users to make complex price comparisons, and generate qualified leads for our partners. Bots were using our forms to scrape prices for competitive intelligence, which caused our conversion rates to drop and consumed unnecessary bandwidth. But since we implemented the DataDome protection, they are no longer attacking us, and our KPIs are stable and reliable again.
Low touch Bot Protection, WAF Capability, Reporting and Great Product team
What do you like best about the product?
After the initial integration which is fairly straigh forward with the CDN - Datadome is easy to manage. It provides an intuitive interface to assess the bot traffic and take action on identified traffic. Bot protection aside, another excellent use case for Datadome is to provide an automated Web Application Firewall (WAF) capability. Typically WAFs require a manual set of rules to be curated and maintained - with Datadome, many of the traffic blocks it raises overlap with what would have been a manual WAF rule - thereby providing unique capability in the WAF space.
We've also been working with the Product team at Datadome who reach out for feedback and to introduce new products - one piece that was released recently and based on customer feeback was providing more insight into the behaviour of the 'captcha' page for classifications that were unclear - this is now quite comprehensive. We've also seen an increase in new product releases over the past year including more advanced detection techniques.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall have seen really continual improvements in the way Data Dome has worked with our team - they are responsive to questions, have generated custom reports to help in ad bot investigations and proactively kept us up to date on new product releases.
There is still room to improve with regard to more extensive customised reporting - there's nothing critical here, but would be nice to have the ability to export larger periods of report data in detail (which they may already be working on)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome reduces the Bot traffic on our website and app by blocking 'bad bots', challenging Ai detected anomaly behavior and allowing good bots. It also prevents a large amount of web scraping. The product goes beyond bot detection to also act as a WAF by blocking unauthorized automated crawls to APIs as well as to patterns that are usually used by vulnerability scrapers.
Using the bot metadata returned from DataDome on requests - is also useful downstream to filter out the good (allowed) bots from analytics and reports.

Simple and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and detailed dashboard. The support team is always available and helpful. Threat prevention is effective and stops a most of the attacks

We have no issues to report at this time.

Blocking different bot, scrapping and attacks on our website - protecting our sites and reducing load from the servers
Easy to deploy and very effective
What do you like best about the product?
The solution proved both easy to deploy and effective, and the onboarding process was fast. There were no surprises. Everything worked like we wanted, and how we expected it to.

Nothing to report. Everything is working well.

Bots were clicking ads, driving up costs, and undermining credibility; it’s hard to convince companies to pay you for advertising if a big chunk of the traffic you send their way are bots. Now that DataDome filters out all bad bot traffic, we’ve realized significant time savings and no longer have to deal with click fraud.
Hands-off bot detection
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome's advanced machine learning technologies efficiently distinguish bots from humans, and automatically block malicious visitors without intervention from our security team. Additionally, DataDome didn’t require a huge team of experts to get it to work, it was useful out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no problems to report at this time.

Bots were scraping our company’s database, posing a threat to our profitability. We needed to find a way to limit the access to our data en masse. Since activating DataDome, data scraping has no longer been an issue.
Set It and Forget It” Bot Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome is a “set it and forget it” solution. It’s easy to implement and quick to deploy, saving our team man hours. The solution’s “explore traffic” feature cuts to the chase, enabling us to investigate traffic requests’ behavior and patterns quickly. Custom rules are likewise simple to configure and fine-tune, if necessary. It’s a great solution, and cost-effective when compared to other options on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any solution, there’s always room for improvement. In this case, time-filtered reports can be time consuming and the threat overview could benefit from showing more context vs. absolute numbers.

I recommend DataDome for any online business that is looking to protect its traffic from bad bots while maintaining an excellent user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Our mission is to provide a secure platform for other nonprofits to collect donations. DataDome protects our infrastructure and mission - especially from large-scale automated carding attacks that create high costs for us and our members.

Bot attacks, mainly to verify black market credit card data, incurred high costs for our nonprofit members and us. Without DataDome, our platform was sometimes unavailable, requiring considerable manual labor to mitigate ongoing attacks.

Our mission is to get creators paid. Datadome helps ensure the security and stability of our platform, empowering us to better defend creators’ ability to make decisions about their creative works. The dashboard has a very instinctual interface and is not filled with a lot of noise. DataDome’s sales engagement team is patient, knowledgeable, and flexible in collaborating to ensure our needs have been met. The team offered priceless support for our launch, as well, going above and beyond to ensure we launched successfully with minimal disruption.

Prior to DataDome, it took a great deal of time, labor, and resources to detect and respond to attacks. DataDome’s partnership has strengthened our defenses, allowing the team to tackle other important priorities. Thanks to DataDome, we’re able to embody and achieve Patreon’s core values and support our mission to get creators paid.
