Powerful, Best in Class solution for Bot Detection
What do you like best about the product?
Datadome gives us protection against modern, crafted DDoS attacks by identifying bots based on more than just IP, headers, and user agents. It allows us to identify and block specific bad bots, to identify and whitelist partners (good/verified bots), and it gives us a way to reduce our exposure to scraping, credential stuffing, vulnerability scanners, etc, while maintaining a low false positive rate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Datadome does a good job of distinguishing humans from bots, but may be less mature when it comes to identifying legitimate bots that might be partners or customers. This is not so much a criticism as a caution: before you can use the service to block bad traffic, you need to be able to identify and categorize all of your good bot traffic.

Dashboard and the people who it's working there.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any complaint but the prices it's not cheap.

It's a good anticrawler and we feel more safety with them.

DataDome is a good tool to help reduce bot traffic on your site
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome is very easy to set up in your system and automatically filters out unwanted bot traffic with minimal oversight from our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our system has many automated jobs and tasks that get identified as bot traffic by DataDome. These must be configured in DataDome to be ignored by their filtering mechanisms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome is helping to prevent bots from testing credit card numbers on our site and eliminating other bot traffic on our sites.
Easy to implement and use, friendly and knowledgeable team.

Compared to previously used systems, datadome is very fast and efficient. Having a very minimal performance impact in our website.

A couple of false positives/false negatives, but the jigsaw captcha is easy enough.

Protection of our ip/data from bot scraping.
Powerful, easy to use solution
What do you like best about the product?
We love DataDome’s easy-to-use interface and its clear categorisation of requests and risks. The powerful exploration tool helps us determine where requests are coming from. Also, its custom rules management system is likewise easy to use and we appreciate its flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to report, works well for our usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were facing scraping and data theft threats. Since implementing DataDome, we no longer have to worry about these threats or the associated down time.
Very efficient scraping protection
What do you like best about the product?
The efficiency of the bot detection. DataDome replaced a previous bot protection system which was becoming obsolete, and the difference is huge.

Nothing, we are fully satisfied with DataDome
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We publish and manage business directories in multiple countries on every continent, and our websites were targeted by scraper bots from all over the world. DataDome has reduced our traffic by 40%. So in addition to protecting our proprietary content from theft, it has stabilized our platform (no more outages) and helped us reduce our infrastructure costs.
Reliable, cost-effective solution
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome is very reliable, and we no longer are consumed with worry about bots stealing our data. We’re also very satisfied with the false positive rate; it’s half of the industry standard, a small fraction of a percent.

At this time, there is nothing to report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Potential scraping and credential stuffing attacks were causing site instability and driving up our infrastructure costs, and dealing with major attacks could take up days of developer time. Now that DataDome protects our mobile app, website and API against bot-driven threats, our infrastructure costs have been significantly reduced. And the team no longer spends unnecessary hours manually dealing with attacks.
Easy to implement, great customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome’s solution is very easy to implement. In fact, we went from project start to go-live in just two weeks. Since then, we’ve added the DataDome SDK to protect our app as well. The DataDome team is also great; customer support is always available and ready to help us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were dealing with scraper bots retrieving ticket prices, which was skewing our performance metrics and putting an unnecessary burden on our infrastructure. Since implementing DataDome, our bad bot traffic has been divided by 3 or 4. We’ve also saved about 10% on our infrastructure costs.
