Best Code Repository Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Best part of github its simple ui by which we can easily share our code with team and work on shared project efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now , experience with github was smooth till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on shared project is not easy without github. Github provide Pr feature by which code review made easy. Github also provide build automation tool which makes project delivery easy.

What do you like best about the product?
-Has website, mobile app and desktop app which makes accessing github very easy
-Great UI
-Developer first approach
-Has loads of development tool such as Copilot, image registry, codespace, issue and project management.
-Free to use if you're opensource or individual user

What do you dislike about the product?
-I can not think anything I do not like. Absolutely love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Github is very important part of our code management and CI/CD pipeline. It has built in support for CI/CD which makes it very convenient and saves from having seperate CD platform.
GitHub saves the code at the end of Day.
What do you like best about the product?
Github is best to collaborate witht the team members and easy push code and other person can easily use the code and make changes, also Github provides previous changes as commits and we can revert the changes easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Github concept like when the changes made by more than one person can cause conflict is sometimes debugging matter, but with little experience and practise this problem is not that of a matter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Github solves the problem of sharing code to other members locally and sharing code over again with minimal changes cause a heavy inefficiency in teams, GitHub solves problem of code management and code security.

What do you like best about the product?
My coding journey started when the COVID-19 (LOCKDOWN time) and at that time I was facing many Problems I designed some websites then via WhatsApp I sent them to my teammate he checked and if bug he told and after the bug was fixed I needed to send it again via WhatsApp which is too annoying for me that's time I start finding the solution for that then I know about GitHub which is free because free is a very good way to all user to test full platform then I researched on it and I started using it. so it is easy to use and implement i started using it frequently because I just developed web software and using a single line of command I pushed it on GitHub there are many numerous and it is easy to integrate features in it I loved it also Customer Support is too good he told me its feature how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no setting for set default README.md file creation which is too important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It Is solving my biggest problem which I already told you that is step to step code review and development of code with teammates.

I can write and publish anything and in any computer language without limits to help community take it to use or build something.

Sometimes it is little hard to use from Unix CLI than from webapp/desktop app

Best benefit is i have total control on my data and i can edit/modify whenever required. It solves my staging and version control issues with files i write on linux.

1.pricing model is not flexible, difficult to afford in Asia specific section where is pay purchase parity with US doller

According to me github reactvity is quiet slow while code push and it provide less security feature for Free Plans

Using github it help me all my team work on same project and we can contribute our code on daily on github and it also help me reduce duplicating work and duplicate code. we can easily revert our code if any conflict occur.

If you ask a developer where to store their code, one of the first answers will be GitHub. This is also the case with me. It is widely used and adapted, and that is what I like about it. It is easy to use, integrate and almost never down.

Some downsides of GitHub are their account plan limitations which you might eventually fall for when keeping your code sources private.

GitHub offers a solution to store code sources either in a public (open source) or private (closed source) way. The service is generously free and widely adapted. As a developer you can easily add others to your project or let them fork from it.

i have been using github as my primary vcs for more than a decade now and dont think i will switch anytime soon.

nothing to criticize , there hasnt been a problem for us.

we are using github for CI/CD and version control, we are also using packages and container reposetories to build and host our applications and containers.
the integration with slack , teams and jetbrains spaces is amazing to have for bug and issue tracking.
