Brilliant Software, been using it at several organizations since 2026
What do you like best about the product?
The integration between all the products is phenomenal, and so is the rate at which new products have been added.
What do you dislike about the product?
User experience is getting complicated as more and more features are added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDog helps us understand whether or not the software we are writing is working as intended. It beats having to manage separate and unintegrated tools for error tracking, log shipping, APM, etc, which we used to before.

What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly high quality software that is powerful
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of feature parity across products, like why can I do multiple queries and folumas in Logs but not RUM?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without it we wouldn't be able to make any decisions, we can actually see what is happening in production and be proactive instead of just reacting to customers.

The capability to see system logs and events with app logs and networking info provides the highest visibility to user activity and service availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
to many graphs per page. UI is great in general, but to many components in a single view.

Troubleshooting, performance analysis and bottleneck identification.
Great Observability Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to observe our distributed app top to bottom .
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features, but it isn't cheap to get them. We spend a lot of time and energy trying to keep our log ingest costs down

We've got a distributed system with millions of log events daily, and it helps us tie together how the systems work with each other.
Datadog Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
We're able to design our own metrics , and build our own dashboards. We can also have custom alerts on it. I also like the feature where you can see the pattern of the logs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont use it as extensively, so far whatever I have used have been good

Building custom metrics and building notification on top of the dashboards

Simplicity for the deployment and create dashboards and extract information

Mobile APP is to slow, and you can't search easy

Not available. I love everything datadog provides. Maybe learning curve is steep.

Logs explorer and APM. Unified Tagging service.

Cost to be honest is quite high. And comlexity sometimes is a lot.
