Fantastic Custom Product for Billings

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize Tridens to your liking has made it easier to work on a solution that works for our company. The pricing is the most competative I have seen on the market to do date as well, and other companies are charging an arm and a leg!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to the system and can be daunting for new employees to pick up, but with the Tridens team helping you along the way it makes it a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Billing customers who have very custom attributes is what Tridens is helping with the most. Tridens ability to be customized so well allows us to bill even the most complex contracts.

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like that Tridens Monetization is a one-spot solution where I can accomplish all
tasks in our process. It’s straightforward to manage customers and maintain a product catalog,
and I can even set up my billing, invoicing, and payment collection schedule. I use the
finance reporting feature to pull financial reports directly, and I especially like the real-time
analytics functionality which enables my company fact-based decisions that grow our
business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a while to wrap my head around the usage-based billing concepts, and it’s concepts in
Tridens Monetization. However, it works great once you learn it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly we use features like subscription billing, invoicing, and paymnt collections, since we
are an insurance company and these are the most common. Additionally, we are also
applying innovation with usage-based pricing models, which takes our offers to new level
compared to our competition. We allow other departments to acces and run reporting,
which is an added benefit, since it provides transparency to our collection process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI and the flexibility of the platform very much. We use the platform for customer management, product catalog, billing, invoicing, and payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, I like this platform. There is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are satisfied with the platform because it gives us the tools to support our business cases and enables our current and future growth. We established a genuine partnership relationship with the vendor.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tridens Monetization offers an easy and straight-forward interface for managing clients and pricing, then issue invoices on demand and send them to the client’s email directly. The pricing catalog for project management and consulting services is easy to maintain, which enables me to keep track of everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am happy with the solution in its current state, and I’m also considering using additional features for financial reporting. The team is really helpful in that process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working with multiple clients, keeping track of everything in separate solutions took a large amount of time, while in Monetization creating new products and versioning them is very straightforward. I like the feature of bundling products together, as this allows me to create customized pricing for the clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this product especially to someone who has pricing which changes a lot, because you can really keep track in Monetization, and set pricing updates in advance so they come into effect at a later time. Their growth-based costs are also good for new companies who start with a smaller client base.

What do you like best about the product?
What we like best is the ability in Tridens Monetization to quickly onboard new clients and design different product and bundle combinations for different services we offer, while still being able to adjust prices or discounts for specific products on the fly. Monetization also offers sending invoices to client’s emails out of the box, with configurable invoice templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no dislikes worth mentioning and the Tridens team is very supportive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Tridens Monetization for billing our financial services to our small business clients. The Monetization UI enables a quick onboarding process for new clients, that our agents make great use of. At the moment we are primarily working on subscription based or one-time charges, while in parallel we are exploring the introduction of new consumption/tier based strategies in Monetization, which looks very promising at the moment. Monetization saves us a lot of time and allows us to manage a good portion of clients in one spot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We recommend Tridens Monetization to companies dealing with a lot of clients based on a “dynamic” product catalog, where multiple products are bundled together in different variations, and multiple discounting options. Managing the product catalogue and creating new offers is fairly easy in Monetization, which saves a lot of time and effort.

Complete Port Services Monetization Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this solution is the configurability of rating parameters. We can configure different rates for different shipping lines, container types, and other port services. We make good use of the combination of billing intervals with one-time invoices, which allows us to have regular clients with monthly or semi-annual fees, while still being able to issue an “over the counter” invoice for special services and Customs charges.
What do you dislike about the product?
We imported tons of different product/price combinations, and it took a while to come up with a way to manage them efficiently, but we managed to overcome this together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several product-rate combinations stored in Tridens Monetization, which we use to charge vessel operators for import/export and handling charges. The charges differ based on the cargo type, whether containers are full or empty, or whether they are special containers, like refrigeration or hazardous materials. Additionally, we charge clients for picking up containers, apply late-pickup fees, and any additional charges for cargo movement. Tridens Monetization allows us to manage our pricing in one spot while still being able to produce invoices for printing and even pull financial reports. It saves us a lot of manual work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We recommend this product to anyone dealing with a lot of different pricing parameters and invoicing rules, and we recognize how it could be applied for any other industry as well. The REST APIs are straightforward and enable good catalog management.

What do you like best about the product?
We like that we can use Tridens Monetization as a centralized solution for multiple services at once. The configurable event types allow us to define different cycles (monthly, bi-monthly) for our customers based on the service they are using. Feeding meter data into Monetization via CSV uploads was also very easy to set up with out-of-the-box features.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are happy with the solution and the team responsiveness at the moment. I had to learn how to use Monetization, but the workshops they prepared for us were very educational.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a portion of our customers in Tridens Monetization, where their consumption is rated, and any additional fees are applied. The invoices are prepared in PDF format and exported to FTP. We feed meter data to Monetization via CSV file uploads, which saves us an enormous amount of time. Our customers can use the Monetization self-care portal to view their meter states, bills, and any other purchased products.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s a very versatile solution for the utility industry because it allows for complex rating and pricing scenarios and adding any additional taxes and contributions specified by different utility regulations. Setting up the meter read imports is easy and works great. Invoices can be exported as PDFs with configurable templates, ready for printing.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to configure a product catalogue and then onboard new clients with just a few clicks. I also use the invoice-to-email feature a lot, in combination with configurable billing and invoicing jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
No general dislikes. Maybe that there was a slight learning curve with more complex features, since our goal was to automate the billing process entirely with some usage-based services as well. The support team was very responsive and happy to help.

What do you like best about the product?
Service runs very smoothly without any severe interruptions, and most importantly, it is accurate and customizable. The software offers a tremendous advantage to integrate with other services through webhooks which perfectly fits my case. Configurable invoice templates are an elegant feature and provide a significant advantage over competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search filters and reports could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am impressed about this service and i think software really has huge potential.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, they have an intuitive and modern GUI. I like their support team, as well.

The dashboard could be configurable. I hope they will add this feature soon!

I have been providing education services for businesses and individuals. It was easy to configure the product offering from one-time fees, recurring fees, promotions to discounts. I am using the payments and automatic dunning process.
