Advanced logging and monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
DataDog has a huge array of options available for searching logs and creating monitors and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who isn't super into logging/monitoring, all the options can be a bit overwhelming and the interface seems pretty advanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging user and system events and monitoring for issues.

Very expensive, but worth it for my use case. I just wish the cost were lower so the decision would be easier.

GRAPHIC MONITOR FOR DIFFERENT SERVICES At the same time, it is not necessary at specific times of high traffic.

Report of Metrics and Retransmissions by TCP, calculate rate and averages reasons.

Datadog is an amazing cloud monitoring solution that provides great insight and alerting and it's free to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is very difficult to understand a graphical report and requires a bit more technical knowledge to use. Different types of metrics require little reading and understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It alerts when the server enters a critical zone so that it can respond in a timely manner.

Datadog has helped our team connect errors to user behaviour. When our users encounter problems, we can diagnose and fix them before they even report them.

The very informative and easy-to-read graphs curated for the software service. It gives a great picture of the application's performance and helps find bottlenecks that might cause production issues at load.
What do you dislike about the product?
The team needs to be ramped up to ensure datadog inclusion in coding best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Figure out performance bottlenecks in lower environments.

Powerful all-in-one logging solution
What do you like best about the product?
Logging to Datadog is easy. Once events are logged, the Datadog UI provides the power to search those logs and create dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve for searching logs and creating dashboards. It's very much a pro tool, requiring some training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Datadog primarily to log errors, monitor performance, and trigger alerts. It has first-class integration with OpsGenie, making it a perfect ops tool.
