Flexible and responsive time series db
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in how you can store and query data. This makes it an easy solution to start playing with and integrating time series data into an application. It is great that it is open source and has cloud hosting options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud hosting seems like it could be quite expensive at scale. There is also an odd separation between what is available in the cloud and OSS versions but this is well documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InfluxDB is provides a quick and flexible way to provide time series data for another application. It can scale and support more structured data and queries over time.
Great Experience!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of influxdb is the detailed graphs and metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as dislikes go I would say it is a bit complex to implement when compared to net data for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of reporting on the performance of machines in the network.
Good experience
What do you like best about the product?
They scalability and easy understand use
What do you dislike about the product?
While using some it show me some different error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time less than other platforms and convenient price
InfluxDB as the Go-To TimeSeries Database
What do you like best about the product?
InfluxDB is able to scale elastically with its ability to utilize sophisticated operations such as pipe forwarders to send one function’s output into that of another with the ability to tag values in a function. In addition,InfluxDB is utilized currently for the monitoring of time series data, forecasting, creating of alert rules, and API development with a focus on monitoring infrastructure networks, and in tying some of the issues around data reconciliation to billing as in the case of a typical monitoring enterprise tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
InfluxDB to have more documentation alongside with Splunk would be great, but it is not a must have. InfluxDB is a powerful solution and I do not have any thing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InfluxDB also allows us to focus on for checks to be performed on the data, either through the use of a threshold or deadman check, when it comes to a specified criteria of having a status applied to each data point. This query is then configured based on the bucket value, measurement field, and tag sets.
Good Database for time-series data
What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is about having API so no need of setup in server side. Also being open source, easy to setup with less dependencies and being more suitable for time series data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem which we face with INflux DB is the high latency rate while getting data in Grafana for monitoring. Also, the error logs are not much useful so need to integrate with grafana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing influxDb helps is in pitching in for collecting time series data on the list of common build issues in Jenkins and the time when the issue had happened. So it is easier to filter the logs.
Projet collecting datas to show evolutions and preferences
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is helpful to get hands-on influx. I also really like flux!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more advice on how to design data schemas. I have struggled a lot as my project is an edge case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compared to classical databases, Influx helped me dealing with a lot of points. Moreover, its downsampling helps me keeping my database size ok.
Easy to use and Full of features!
What do you like best about the product?
InfluxDB is a strong database built specifically for Time Series Data. It has made working with such data seamless and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such there are no downsides of InfluxDB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on Electricity Time Series Data. The data is huge and live streaming. All is seamlessly managed by InfluxDB and its cloud service, via GCP. The price is very low and dashboard monitoring is best
Must-have time series database
What do you like best about the product?
Getting started with InfluxDB is straight-forward and easy. One of the powerful feature of InfluxDB dashboards and its query language Flux. Influx is fast and efficient. Deploying, managing, backups and upgrading the influx needs some expertise. The query language helps to customize the visualization and to calculate the data effectively. The help documentation is detailed enough to get started.
The monitioring and the alert functions in InfluxDB helps to take appropirate actions when something is deviating. Integrations with third party tools and solutions enables to create seamless pipeline across multiple zones.
The Influx APIs helps in automating tasks and also in the CI/CD pipelines.

What do you dislike about the product?
Few limitations in the open source version and the security aspects. InfluxDB should develop its own plugins for the performance testing ecosystem. Right now only few integrations are available out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Critical data to visualize the performance, analytics, and more. By having the holistic view in the Influx user interface helps to monitor the whole arena. It helps me to monitor the performance of our applications during the performance testing. By leveraing the Infux DB dashboard, we can easily monitor the response time, throughput, pass/fail count, CPU, memory, disk, network, and other utilization across our instances. It also alerts the respective parties to take actions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to visualize your data in a fast and efficient way, then InfluxDB is the answer. InfluxDB visulization dashboard is all you need to monitor all the aspects in your organization. If you are enterprise, then managing the users, organizations is easy in InfluxDB.
InfluxDB is my go-to open-source TSDB
What do you like best about the product?
- It's open-source
- InfluxDB Cloud is easy to use, has a very intuitive user interface with prebuilt dashboards and scripts for common monitoring projects
- Telegraf can collect metrics from a variety of sources

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific features I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am aggregating IoT sensor data and displaying them in one central dashboard. The data sources are from different manufacturers. Telegraf helps collect the data and sends it InfluxDB Cloud where we can create dasboards based on various needs.
