Best Vulnerability Management Tool EVER
What do you like best about the product?
Hard to narrow down. It's easy to install (15 minutes or less), easy to administer (took 15 minutes to master) and easy to use. Vulnerabilities are scanned and risk assessed daily making it easy to identify what has been remediated and what's outstanding. The vulnerability intelligence feed on the dashboard ensures I know exactly how the latest exploit might impact my organisation and what I need to do to remediate/mitigate the risk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing!! If I'm going to be really picky my only issue is the Orca only provides me an inside looking out view. It would be perfect if it could also provide me the outside looking in view so I could connect vulnerability remediation to websites and business units.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Orca is cloud-native it has solved the problem of trying to get older terrestrial-based technologies to work effectively in cloud environments.

Sometimes, features are not applicable to all types of assets.

We wanted single solution for all our Cloud security-related problems and ORCA is that solution for us.
Fast and effective tool with good integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Large range of dashboards which allow us to see not only security issues but also compliance issues.
The tool has great integrations alongside very reasonable and appropriate severity rankings which allow us to automate into other systems based on said severity.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a bit clunky from time to time and can take quite some time to load.
There have been instances of test alerts being sent to customers, which caused high concern.

We get a great degree of visibility into our cloud-based systems, while also ensuring that they are secure.

Don't limit yourself purely to the vulnerability management feature within orca, explore it all.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for Orca to scan cloud compute instances without agents and Orca's constant updates, including cloud security posture management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of sub-menus on the website, and it's hard to discover what you're looking for initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scanning EC2 instances dynamically without the need for agents. Orca uses AWS account access to scan EC2 instances without agents.
Would recommend do to the effectiveness and easy of on-boarding.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and the support from our onboarding team was great. Scott and Joshua are very proactive in what are business case is and how Orca can help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor visual effects within the UI. Data discovery to ensure Data Loss Prevention can be affective. Reporting could also use a bit of dazzling for the Executives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete Cloud Posture and Discovery of everything within AWS. It helps ensure we have security controls in place within our Cloud environment

This is a quick setup and quick win with visibility of your Cloud Infrastructure.

Orca Security - very useful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly thorough and scans so many resources. As you don't need to install agents onto all of your instances, it is painless to set up, allowing for quick onboarding.
There is a deep JIRA integration which helps me action findings quickly and to the right team.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of information presented which can be hard to jump into sometimes, it can talk some time to navigate the product but the vast amount of data and insight is invaluable and outweighs this drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work on the infosec team at my company as a Program Manager, I use Orca to assess our vulnerabilities help me prioritize the most important work for the Engineering and Operations teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly gain visibility into your cloud assets and then truly focus on the high risk items.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI could use a bit of improvement, even though already a big improvement from v1. I've been using it for half a year but data display is still not as intuitive for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By not having to go through the painful technical challenges for installing an agent, Orca provided me with near instant visibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want near instant visibility into cloud assets, Orca Security is the way to go. Each environment that typically has struggles to get an agent on each and every resource, would find Orca Security very useful.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it was to implement and operationalize. When you're dealing with the cloud agents suck and frankly getting to a point where you have full coverage can be very difficult but not with Orca.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I could possibly say is that the risk categorization takes some getting used to (Compromised, Imminent Compromise, Hazardous)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently I shared with an interested party who asked me this question and I found nine different and unique things that Orca had shown me in just four months.
