Ping Identity is the Best Product Team I have ever worked with
What do you like best about the product?
Very Professional Team to work with and Highly Knowledgeable about the IAM, OIDC, OAuth2.0. From a product perspective, Ping Identity is a one stop shop for all things related to IAM. Very good Production Documentation and Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Capability Customization is not very flexible. Out of the box features implementation is not easy. Additional features on Admin Console like ability to manage / monitor the Engines will be very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are leveraging Ping Identity to consolidate our IAM function and implement OAuth2.0 for all our Authentication and Authorizations Work flows for Portal and B2B Applications. Also we are planning to leverage Ping Identity to implement MFA for our Applications.

Works fro the need and the cost
What do you like best about the product?
The product performs the function we need it for at a reasonable cost. Not much in bells and whistles but a good solid product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costs can get out of hand if you don't negotiate them correctly and watch the number of users on the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two factor for aplication access
Recommendations to others considering the product:
setup marketing and quoteing for mutliple vendors.
RockStar Customer Service and Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of implementation and the support that we get from the Engineering Team, and staff. It also makes a huge difference when the log files contain a wide variety of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that they could improve on is after hours contact support when there is an outage. All in all its good, and I've been able to work through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Pingfederate for employee authentication. Its reusability, logs, apis as well as the certificate management out weigh any other application that I have worked with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The number one thing I love is the support of the Engineering and Architecture team. You don't get this from any other vendor, especially after you are in production and the initial implementation phase is over.
Ping Identity Hybrid Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I could purchase the Workforce360 bundle and get all the products I needed without having to get add-on after add-on
What do you dislike about the product?
PingFederate is extremely complex. It really needs a deep understanding to leverage all of its features and there is no "simple" mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deployed MFA for our organization via PingID. We looked into Azure AD Premium and Okta as other potential vendors. Ping struck the right balance of cost and functionality without being locked into one vendors ecosystem.
PingFederate - A fentastic federation tool to delight customers
What do you like best about the product?
PingFederate's ease of use (including setup and configuration etc.,) coupled with its ability to seamlessly integrate federation with other identity providers makes it the most preferred/"go to" choice for customers globally.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using this product since 6 years and I found it only advantages and there is nothing to dislike about it.

saml, ws-fed and oAuth related
PingID -MFA
What do you like best about the product?
We are using the PingID since 2-3 years approx, we are using this as MFA software It is very user friendly and effective, Customer support is very quick and effective,
What do you dislike about the product?
If you misconfigured the PingID my mistake then its very difficult to get into the server , almost impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PingID team should inform to their customer early if they want to upgrade their tool, we got an update 3 days before of expiration
WFH Security
What do you like best about the product?
Ping identity has been a great tool to ensure that my devices are being used by me and only me throughout the pandemic while working from home. Keep yourself safe, use Ping.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little tedious to set up the token but still effective
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a great way and safe way to verify my identity. Passwords are great but not always secure.

Ping experiences using PingFed and PingOne
What do you like best about the product?
Ping provides clients with easy methods for MFA. We set up several clients with various methods of using MFA including app, email, and SMS. Clients like the options.
From an administrative view: PingFed, once configured, requires a little training on the deep selection of menus. System administration to add IDP or SP adapters using the partner library is so smooth.
PingOne administration takes very little effort in order to configure and is very intuitive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The initial set up can be complex. We are utilizing 5 servers for redundancy and it took a little to figure out the environment with support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ping Identity allowed us to remove our on premise only solution for MFA and move to the cloud. PingOne authenticator app is a huge plus allowing clients easier methods to MFA. Most like the one touch option or using face ID.

SSO and MFA features are useful on daily basis

I don’t find any downside about ping solution

Simplicity to get the platform up and running. The level of creativity you leverage to achieve complex goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support site, and documentation. If you find a useful article\document print it as a PDF. Links and content change at break neck pace.

Making IAM simple for applications, solving complicated modern day IAM needs.

Generally a great product to work with. Only changes I faced are with documentation\support portal.
