What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service is pretty great. They are fast.

Design and UI feels very outdated and old.

Excel on Steroids

What do you like best about the product?
- The Concept: I think it's brilliant that Sigma leveraged the idea that everyone knows and understands Excel/Google Sheets. Then accessed data in Snowflake and leveraged compute in Snowflake to create a tool that allows more non-technical users to be highly effective analysts with only Google Sheets/Excel skills.

- Support: Their support is second to none, though I'm skeptical of its scalability. For now, having someone real and competent on the other side to answer questions immediately is fantastic.

- Speed of Delivery: They have a solid product and development team, as seen through their velocity of major feature releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Cost: It's expensive to upgrade once you're in. Recommend knowing what you'll need immediately, but negotiate for what you need in 2 years.

- Visualizations: Solid enough for rudimentary visualizations, but has a lot to catch up on, especially if they want to compete with the BI giants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a two-sided platform in the FinTech world, some of the problems that Sigma is solving for us are:
- Making analytics and visualizations available externally for all of our customers.
- Securitizing the data to ensure that we only provide access to data that the customer should see.
- Allowing our customers to explore their data and build their visualizations based on the available data.
- Enabling our customers to export data through emails or file drops on a scheduled basis.

Internal utilization:
- Data democratization - Everyone in tech knows how to use Excel and Google Sheets. The bar to entry is shallow.

What do you like best about the product?
Sigma has a lot of functionalities that rival Tableau. The best thing is that it is much faster to prototype dashboards on Sigma.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more developers to build out more features and products

Easy visualizations that are digestible to my stakeholders.

Sigma - the best visualization platform for those without being very technical

What do you like best about the product?
The teams and their abilities to help customers and stakeholders understand what issues they are having and assisting the internal teams to find alternative solutions. . We also like their Chat feature, this has been very useful with formulas that worked in our other platform and "translating" it to work in Sigma. Very cool feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations with the map features, but I understand the product team is working on it and will have better updates for future use cases. The Sigma platform is very Excel, user friendly but has some issues with those who are used to writing SQL queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous platform had limitations in queries running for hours before updating a data visualization or report. Sigma was brought in because of it's ability to interact and ingest data from multiple data warehouses and use those data warehouses to cache data in memory for ease of use.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sigma G2 is its user-friendly interface and powerful analytics capabilities. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, even for non-technical users. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create reports and visualizations quickly, without the need for coding or complex queries. I also appreciate the ability to collaborate with other users in real-time, which has helped our team work more efficiently and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Sigma G2 is that some advanced features may require additional training to use effectively. For example, some of the more advanced data modeling and transformation capabilities may not be immediately intuitive to new users, and may require additional training or support to fully leverage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma G2 has been instrumental in helping our organization solve a number of data analytics challenges. With Sigma G2, we've been able to streamline our reporting and analysis processes, reducing the time and effort required to produce actionable insights. What do you like best about the product?
I love how Sigma makes data analysis easy and accessible to everyone in the organization. The platform's intuitive and user-friendly interface allows even non-technical users to create complex data visualizations and reports without relying on the IT team. Sigma also seamlessly integrates with popular cloud data warehouses, making data ingestion and transformation a breeze. What's more, the customer support is excellent and always available to help with any questions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor drawback of Sigma is the limited range of visualization options. While the platform offers a good selection of charts and graphs, it would be great to see more advanced visualizations and customization features. Another improvement would be better control over data security and permissions.
