Easy to use as a fairly inexperienced SQL user
What do you like best about the product?
I have worked with a number of other data softwares and have found sigma to be my favorite due to how easy it is to use. As someone who is proficient in SQL but not skilled in it, I have found it is very easy to view queries, and it is easy to create helpful graphs and tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The base colors are a bit bland. I wish it had a bit more of a userfriendly look to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows me what is going on in my business each day and helps me analyze what is going wrong.
Great for quick chart building, fails when you have too many charts
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward and intuitive UI for creating your charts based on simple sql. Tons of ways to filter/segment the raw data via the chart building tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have 30 or so charts in one dashboard, and half of them fail because the sql behind the charts fails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the fact that I can quickly run diagnostics using the charts and customize my dashboard to my specific business needs.

Sigma has an intuitive UI that allows business users to better engage in data by providing a familiar spreadsheet-like interface and adopting similarly familiar formulas to analyze curated datasets

As a still growing product, there are some features that are not yet available.

Sigma enables business users to get insights about company health and productivity via familiar charts, tables, and graphs
Best BI Analytics Software I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love that I can export a dashboard directly into Google sheets. It makes things so seamless. I'm also a huge fan of their free support team available literally whenever I need them. You can tell it's built by individuals who appreciate the value of empowering their users with full control of their data. What do you dislike about the product?
It's a fairly new product, so just being patient while they add usability is the only thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track our leads and lead conversion rate. It also helps us see stats and connect multiple databases together to find trends.
It has a simple UI.

Easy UI, and we can quickly get insights into different complex datasets without writing code.

Nothing as such. But while loading a dataset from the internet it is somewhat slow.

Sigma is solving an essential thing for big businesses, like getting insights with just drag and drop without being technical.

What do you like best about the product?
Sigma allows our business users to gain insights into their data without having SQL experience. Additionally, our Product Managers are able to dive into the data to identify and define new features using data-driven analysis. We can find actionable insight in minutes rather than days because our internal business users can create reports without having to go a BI specialist to create complex SQL. Sigma has been an absolute game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far, we do not see a lot of downside. One small area we look forward to is further customization on embedded reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma is allowing our clients to identify key insights into their data that are *actionable.* Additionally, our clients can customize and create their own reports within our product and that reduces the impact on our BI team. *And, they can do this without knowing SQL.* I cannot overstate how much positive impact this has had for both our external clients and our internal staff. Internally, we use Sigma to identify trends across our entire Client base and that drives new features for our product lines.
Slow loading but good processes

Next to no learning curve with prior Excel experience vs Tableau

Only web-based, can't use offline. Can get pretty slow if many calculated fields are added to a table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to answer questions using pivot tables. Data visualization also useful, but being able to pivot large datasets is great
Sigma is Best
What do you like best about the product?
Sigma is easy to use. Easy to access and very easy to understand, unlike its other competitors. It has some good features and some best ones. Some inbuilt formulas are best to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few Downsides I observed are the errors aren't mentioned properly, we have to google them. It is slow sometimes and warehouse-dependent. But still, it is evolving and has been getting good updates and new features with each version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exception Aggregation is one thing Sigma is solving. It is one of the main things involved in our project. It benefits me by making my work simpler and getting users' approval.
