Length of time it takes to refresh some data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's visualizing data for our marketing team and giving us a platform to easily search for leads.
Easy visualizations but slow to load and limited utility without custom SQL

basic analysis, joining sheets easily, great way to visualize and represent data and distribute

slow, not versatile in functionality, I still rely on excel heavily and am worried to share some of my work with clients because of how slowly it loads
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
moving away from excel, but slowly, especially limited currently due to loading speed of all features
Flexible data gathering and reporting, highly customizable to fit any departments' needs.
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of reporting that's available to users, as well as how specific and granular it can get. It meets all of our business needs and then some.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the delays in reporting, which is not necessarily the fault of Sigma, can make getting accurate, real-time numbers difficult. And sometimes the tables show different numbers than the boxes above them with the highlights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma is allowing our organization to determine how our users interact with our platform and how we can better target those users to ensure platform stickiness.
Intuitive for the creator
What do you like best about the product?
Sigma is pretty straightforward for the report creator. Generally, the types of charts you need are available and intuitive to build. Additionally, the live chat feature for customer service is excellent. As a user, I get quick, comprehensive responses. If the agent does not have a solution, it is obvious that they are customer-centric in their product roadmap and submit tickets for customers to track requested changes as they are being developed.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of this review, the product is still in its early stages and there are some growing pains. There is quite a bit of pushback from end users. Typically, this is due to long load times on visuals, filters that don't feel intuitive, and an overall lack of flexibility in the platform. There isn't a lot of malleable parts to this product and it can be tough to get the right (very specific) visualization when requested. I'm often left wishing certain features existed that are small but change the overall feel of a dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very quick to put together a basic visualization. Since it is all web-based, it is dynamic and easily shared to build on by other team members and viewers.
Sigma is the most intuitive BI platform out there!

What do you dislike about the product?
The speed can sometimes be a bit on the slow side when dealing with large datasets. Also, moving elements around a dashboard can sometimes be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma has helped our business make big decisions quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
The focus on visualizations instead of data manipulation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets too complicated at times to make what feel like simple changes. Knowing what's SQL based and what's excel based is experience of guess work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboards into simple insights with data pulled daily. It keeps the leadership team in 1 place instead of each sales software.
We love Sigma. During the last year it has heavily improved.

Usage of the tool is great! Drill downs are excellent. Looking at the data as on a sheet is something that is not present in other tools. Performance is outstanding.

It lacks a lot of visualization types, but they have added new features that improved visualization and dashboard creation.
Creating a workbook UI was a pain. But now it has improved with new tools like the grid layout.
Support is excellent, but changes take time to get there.
It doesn't seem yet a mature tool, but it is almost there
Not having Python and R integration is something we don't like
GIT integration would be great. Being a must for tracking the development in any Company

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to self-service has increased since we implemented Sigma. UI has improved a lot since last year. But still some work is needed there. Helping not only Self Service but development teams producing Production workbook for the company, is something that still needs improvements.
Good experience with a couple of times with downtime
What do you like best about the product?
The Sigma export API to download pdfs and also the embed capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Sigma is experiencing downtime, that is not communicated immediately sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create meaningful visualizations from our data warehouse easily and also streamlining how we share those visualizations is a huge benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy visualization tool without limitations for more advanced users. Good integration with FiveTran and BigQuery

Not much yet. We just started exploring but haven't found anything missing.

Integrating data from two different sources and then visualizing the overlaps.

Unbeatable ease of use; empowers business users to access data on their own, without needing the data team to assist with every request
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. Visualizations are a little less robust than some competing products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Sigma, business teams are able to build their own datasets and dashboards. It has facilitated a truly data-driven culture at our company.
