Easy to deploy, easy to use

Before creating the cloudformation deployment I created a new EC2 key. The only issue I had was a bug in the OpenVPN client version that required the removal of the "pull" command. After the removal of that, it worked perfectly. I now have private access to client resources in a manner that was incredibly efficient.

Very Easy and Fast to deploy and very Easy to manage

VPN infrastructure is up and running in less than 5 min, very easy to manage users, CA certificates, client key and client certificate are embedded into the vpn client file.

I was able to boot it up using the t2.nano Instance type

Highly recommend for sysadmin who are not familiar with vpn architectures and certificates management.

Good VPN Product !!!!!

To be fair, when working with VPN servers, the most unloveable job was to handle the certificate authority and all the other very important but most tedious work that you can ever do. The margin of error in creating CA and stuff here is very high. But this product is a different story.
First of all it boots up very quick. It is mentioned up to 12 minutes, but I was able to boot it up with Free tier subscription (t2.micro free usage option) within 5 minutes. The CA and the mind-aching stuff is done within that minutes and all you have to do is to run the script mentoned in documentation and the deal is done))))).
I think I will need this in multiple deployments.

It fast tracks managing and deploying highly scalable OpenVPN solution

It took me less than an hour to deploy OpenVPN to an EC2 instance and start creating new VPN accounts for users. It basically took all the hassle away for us to create, and manage our own custom OpenVPN implementation on EC2.

The product itself is secure, with scaling implemented in the design.

It takes care of all the automation required to setup OpenVPN itself, setting up Security Groups etc.

It has also provided custom scripts to create new users in just a few minutes and get them up and running.

I will recommend this to anyone who don't want all the headache of setting up and managing their own VPN server on AWS.

An easy to manage and resilient security solution for an enterprise.

Gone are the days when it would take hours to set up an OpenVPN server and get client connections up and running. This awesome system from 0x4447 LLC just took me 10 minutes to get up and running. I could create client configurations in a jiffy and what's more? I was able to scale-down or scale-up my instance without worrying about losing my connections! This is possible due to built-in resiliency via the EFS drive. Another crucial feature is a well-secured server on AWS that restricts root access and SSH access to the public. I would definitely recommend this image to enterprises that need a secure VPN solution for site-to-site or a point-to-site configuration that needs to be easily managed.
