The best firewall solution for any and all networks.. Period!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The diversity and the options that it gives and the integration with all other encrypted software are remarkable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing much to dislike, but if i have to write, I would say the complex interface that can get you lost sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The network security that we need for our intranet and internet are all taken care by this gem of a software
Best secure firewall in VM series
What do you like best about the product?
1. Installation of VM is simple with a single ovf file
2. Initial configuration is simple via management interface in VM.
3. Lot of security features and anti-spam profiles are available.
4. High availability (HA) works perfectly as same as physical firewalls.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Factory resetting is not easy through GUI.
2. Saving the configuration changes takes time.
3. Configuration of some security profiles is a long process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have installed Palo Alto VM in Vmware Esxi, where all the servers are installed. With the help of Palo Alto, we are solving the following
1. Configuring appropriate security policies to protect internal servers.
2. Configuring VPN profiles to access the servers from the internet.
3. Configuring the Antivirus and Antispoof profile to protect servers from brute force and exploitation attacks.

What do you like best about the product?
VM series is excellent if you have sufficient hardware resources; as per the need, you can utilize them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not comparatively reasonable, then Palo alto hardware base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a limitation of finance, so we purchase VM Series, which helps us utilize our VM Ware.

To be honest there is nothing to dislike about this product, in my opinion Palo alto firewall is in the to 3 of best firewalls

Having a FW solution that meet the best practices of the industry

What do you like best about the product?
Palo Alto VM series is easy to install, implement and configure than legacy. It saves time and always user-friendly to analyze the traffic logs than other vendors(personal experience 😉)
What do you dislike about the product?
The support needs improvement, its really difficult sometimes to get PA support on troubleshooting calls which is actually important.
The sync between individual vm and panorama logs differs sometimes, this is something PA needs look into.

We have set up Security policies, NAT, IPS and IDS which are the key features of any of the security products offers.
Packet capture is the best thing to see traffic analysis.
