Feature rich CMS

What do you like best about the product?
Drupal as a CMS gives many types of contents like statistics, text, polls, blogs and much more.
It is an open source platform for Content Management.
It means we are getting a CMS working in a simple yet that too in almost no cost.
(If you are using some paid Apps or themes, it will be the only cost you have to give.)
It gives complex page structuring.
We can manage the content with URL address.
We can make the easy categorization.
Also, there are numbers of plugins(Apps) available for almost every functionality needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much, but I can mention some things like:
The hard installation process - Drupal is not that easy to install and setup as compared to other CMS.
The Customization - For any modification in any script, you must have advance knowledge of HTML, PHP along with CSS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used it for API integration in my project.
The complex structuring is the thing that helped us to keep our data secure.
It's secure, feature rich and complicated to modify CMS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are first time user, have some patience.
Choose it only if you have well-defined requirements.
Don't consider that you will do the customizations and it will work,
It takes the really great experience to customize CMS like DRUPAL.

SImpler than i thought at first

What do you like best about the product?
Drupal 8 has come with so many features but what i love the most is the security. When using it on pantheon, we got https (SSL) certificates with renewals
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I have used drupal 8 to implement a company website and it was way simpler than i took it to be. Especially the setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created our website on Drupal 8. It has never broken down the site, which may make clients loose trust with us
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The simplicity offered is astounding and this product is a great competition to other content management system in the market. I urge users to try it out.

Powerful CMS for techies, but not for regular web designers

What do you like best about the product?
It is very powerful and flexible, and you can do a lot of customization to meet your needs. It has a large community who can provide all the help you need. There are many pre-built applications in Drupal, called distributions, so if you can download and install the distribution with all needed plugins and template, and you are ready to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is high and sometimes it requires you to know a lot about programming to achieve what you need to. The Drupal core developers don't seem to care about how to make the UI easier to use from the end user's perspective, but to focus on the functionalities. As a result, user has to spend lots of time to figure out how things are working in Drupal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to build a website for a small business and the business wanted to have a membership feature in their company's website. Drupal can handle users and roles easily so my client limit access to protected documents based on their roles without needing to use a third-party plugin. The plugin and template directory is not maintained well so there are many plugins and templates are outdated and it could be very confusing for a new Drupal user to choose the right plugin and template.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need a dedicated personnel who knows programming in PHP to be able to maintain the website built in Drupal.

Excellent Open Source Web Content Management System

What do you like best about the product?
It is totally updated and as it is open source individuals like me contribute to the drupal community either by giving comments or problems they face or by new code or module to the Drupal community. Some of the modules such as the SOLR search API Integration and SMAC integration is simply the best with the Drupal Community upgrades
What do you dislike about the product?
The ecommerce part i.e. the Drupalcommerce is not as strong as the other open source ecommerce WCMS like the magento or joomla. The Reports & Dashboard can be a little more fancier and with more analysis in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The modules that are available are in plenty and the Social media integration has helped us a lot in our project to do a thorough analysis and perform digital marketing activities accordingly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's up to date and the version of Drupal is also been upgraded every now and then.. You don't have to upgrade from one version to other everytime. You can wait for the version and update it every alternate times..The latest now is Drupal 8.6.1 with latest patch release on Drupal 8

Drupal was our legacy site platform. As we developed a new site, we considered many platforms. Ended up remaining with Drupal on their newer platform

Por defecto, es demasiado limitado y siempre dependes de terceros (o de ti mismo) para crear proyectos ligeramente complejos..

Páginas web que necesiten de una zona de administración y gestión para el cliente de manera que se la pueda administrar él mismo en el futuro.

What do you like best about the product?
Con Drupal puedes hacer de todo, webs corporativas, plataformas de comercio electrónico, personalizaciones, sitios de redes sociales, boletines informativos, directorios de recursos y mucho más, es complicado no encontrar solución a lo que necesites. Es el sistema más seguro del mercado. Drupal también tiene muy buenas opciones de internacionalización. Puedes administrar contenido en 4 idiomas diferentes y todo está integrado a la perfección en un solo lugar. Desde la perspectiva de SEO, Drupal funciona a la perfección, desde el tiempo de carga hasta la capacidad de rastreo.

Si bien Drupal puede facilitar las cosas difíciles, también tiende a dificultar las cosas fáciles. Los módulos de Drupal proporcionados por la comunidad a menudo te ofrecen casi todo lo que necesitas, pero para que tu proyecto funcione exactamente como necesitas, tienes que crear módulos personalizados o parches por ti mismo.

Drupal proporciona puntos de extensión que permiten ampliar o modificar lo que hacemos a medida que nuestra base de usuarios crece.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Muy recomendado para empresas medianas y grandes, pero siempre con un buen proveedor de hosting que sea totalmente compatible con Drupal.
Personalmente prefiero Drupal a cualquier otro CMS pero definitivamente tiene una curva de aprendizaje importante. Si vienes de otro CMS como Wordpress, por ejemplo, te costará adaptarte. Creo que vale la pena una vez que te sientas cómodo con el cambio.

Puedes generar tus propios módulos muy potentes y construir una buena aplicación web.

A veces es poco intuitivo. Cuesta llegar a algunos lugares para cambiar ciertas cosas.

Best CMS available for free

What do you like best about the product?
I used it regularly and i like it very much, some of its best features are:
-Highly optimized CMS
-Very Awesome features available in this cms in core like Views, services, rest api, hul, etc.
-Very easy to use
-Its backend is very organized
-very fast
-can be used for data management also called headless drupal
-Its 8 version is awesome because of oops.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing till now which i dislike as there was no oops concept in drupal 7 but its latest version i.e drupal 8 had removed all its negative points, i would say must use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We made LMS, corporate sites, intranet protals, company website usning this cms. Would say this is solution for every data-modeling problem because it has very awesome db structure and tables view.

What do you like best about the product?
Drupal is easy to use and can be learned in a day during a short class. The interface is simple and perfect for university subpages.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t a whole lot of customization. It’s not the best for anything super visually appealing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Drupal you can give access to whoever in your department to edit pages. The responsibility doesn’t have to fall on one person.

Compare it with similar products first.
