What do you like best about the product?
When it comes to web development, Drupal is one of the most user-friendly systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The webpage's capacity to be customized is severely limited. You're often limited in what you can post on your website and where you can put it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to create various web pages and edit them for the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I would recommend it.

Intuitive and Simple Web Service

  • July 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn the basics of Drupal, you can quickly enhance your skillset. Plus, if you're unsure of changes/work you're doing, you can save as a draft and allow others to approve and push pages live.
What do you dislike about the product?
The blocks section used to be very confusing, but fortunately they've made major updates to enhance usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to find a system that was easy for all skill --level users. Drupal proved to be the best. We were able to allow editors and employees with greater knowledge to review changes/additions before having them go live -- such an important element.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remind colleagues that custom URLs can be edited and created based off organizational needs. This proves critical when making pages updates/refreshes to annual events.

Drupal CMS Review

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drupal has so many intricate configurations; it makes it easy to get the exact setup that you want from within the site's admin area.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CMS is complex from an admin perspective. Managing content is relatively easy - but the vast configuration possibilities are not friendly for those who are not Drupal experts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drupal's configuration possibilities have allowed us to create a large, complex website suiting many different tiers of content editors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for something easy to set up and simple for content managers to use, then Drupal isn't for you. But if you're looking for something that has limitless out-of-the-box configurations, then Drupal is exactly the CMS you need.

Easy CMS for Large Orgs

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can use Drupal. Though there is absolutely a learning curve, as with everything, Drupal organizes things in a way that make it clear to the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger orgs, customization is always needed and therefore a web agency is needed to ensure that what the client needs can be built out in an intuitive and easy manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content organization as well as ease of updates for the user. This allows users to quickly update content to ensure they are presenting what is needed to their clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is this the right fit for your organization?
Do you have a strong agency to help support your needs?
What issues are you having with your current site and how can these be resolved with Drupal?
What hosting is needed?

Requires a competent developer, but more powerful than expected

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing you can't do in Drupal. It is an excellent entry point into a true headless or decoupled application. Since the framework is built in a very modular fashion, it is effortless to add functionality without affecting other aspects of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Drupal developer community is great overall, there is an influx of 'boot-camp developers' that understand just enough to get a job done but end up skewing standards and creating almost impossible to maintain systems. Since the system is very flexible, it is open to improper setup and architecture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building systems that allow a team of content editors and marketers to add pages with pre-built components easily. Editors look for an easy-to-understand interface and do not want to worry about writing code or figuring out new technologies. I have benefitted from changing architecture methodologies without having to rebuild everything from the ground up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider using a seasoned professional to help set up your site

Drupal 7 - 9 Move

  • June 24, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the security and option to add Arabic language.
What do you dislike about the product?
The move from 7 to 9 is exceptionally costly and timed so poorly right after a pandemic when most organizations do not have the budgets to pay for a rebuild.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems solved but it does get the job done!

Drupal is dynamic, but may be too complex for everyone's needs

  • June 22, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drupal is extendable and very dynamic. Content can be shown and displayed in many ways, just using what comes in the core product.

The open source community that supports the project is wonderful and there are many ways to extend the platform with FREE modules
What do you dislike about the product?
Drupal can be difficult to learn between major versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Drupal for universities, multi sites, commerce, non-profits.

It allows the end users to enter their data seemlessly

  • April 30, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
with an easy way to set it up and deploy it, you can have complex web portals like CRM or an eCommerce website, huge community and themes available to use
What do you dislike about the product?
hard to make custom updates need experience in development to be able to do it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was for creating web portals for eCommerce applications and CRM applications. It was an easy way to start developing using it and deliver fast results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If the design of the web portal is straightforward with no need for complex changes, go ahead. If it needs heavy changes, please keep out as it is easier to implement it with other technologies than drupal and with much ease changing
