Easy to use environment to deploy Apache Kafka

What do you like best about the product?
I like the most how the setup of Apache Kafka is made so easy with Aiven.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is no fitting Source Connector for Connect and Google Cloud Storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Aiven for Apache Kafka for streamlining data into a local environment. I also use it to back up the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Managed service that takes the complexity of setting up the cluster, zookeeper, and other things from your team hand and let you just faster into the actual functionality. It's like I have a team of Kafka experts in my company
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the security credentials and certificates is still a little painful, more automation on this part would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We built a data pipeline over terabytes of requests for information we need to buy advertisement at the best price for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
You can integrate this easily into the existing workflows. It helps to automate the daily tasks and rather helps you focus on building the core applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get slightly expensive specially if you want to store a lot of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apache Kafka is an open-source platform for building real-time streaming data pipelines and applications. You can have applications produce data to some topic and then some applications which consume the data to perform more complex operations and business logic on to it.

Aiven for Apache Kafka is a fully managed streaming platform, deployable in the cloud of your choice. Snap it into your existing workflows with the click of a button, automate away the mundane tasks, and focus on building your core apps. It is a fast and reliable solution for companies who want to stream real time data and gather information to make meaningful decisions.

great dashboard, customization options for kafka
What do you dislike about the product?
hower integration with jolokia and a telegraf plugin (jolokia2) did not work for me
being able setting up alerts would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
decoupling different microservices, distributed message queue

Check advanced configuration for your kafka service.

The all access is https wuth the certificate.

Kafka connect does not have many connectors.

Today , Kafka is a main solution for stream in the company that i working.
I used to update the price , stock i the others....

What do you like best about the product?
It's very convenient, topics, schemas and offsets are very visible making working with Aiven very easy and comfortable
What do you dislike about the product?
There were occasionally some issues that resulted in data loss and that created a sense that we can't rely on Aiven 100% and that we should be very cautious on using Kafka on Aiven as true source of truth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A very important slice of the company's infrastructure is abstracted and maintained by a very good service, freeing engineering time and reducing disaster possibilities
